Perfect near the Municipality for Tender delivery. All was in order and enjoyed my stay in all.

The Lady at Reception made unpleasant traditional noises like calling African spirits in a deep voice, then she speaks to me softly like she’s two different people. This made me very very uncomfortable She apologised but as a Christian I was badly shook by her behaviour and wondered what triggered it when I was sitting right in front of her

I was under the impression that breakfast was standard for all bookings.This would be obvious for people looking at the adverts at a glance.Please state your bookings as standard without breakfast.Please then state the booking with breakfast and the additional cost.Anyone reading your advertised bookings would be misled by the way you present it.The lighting in my room wasn't great.I reported the light wasn't working but nobody attended to the complaint.The bathroom doors in both my children's and my room was stuck and hard to open and close.Apart from the above complaints our stay was pleasant.

The venue was good and the location.The staff were reasonably friendly.It was easy to get in and out of the hotel and the parking was good.

The fact that other visitors sit outside at 4.30 in the morning chatting and laughing at top of their voices and I had to tell them to be quiet which they did not do and then I had to call reception but that still did not work and the mess these people left by the seating area outside.

The tub wasn’t nice and also unsafe as water falls onto the floor , if they install a shower with make it it a 10/10 . Sorry I want to come back there if there is a shower .

There was no fridge. I wasn’t aware we couldn’t drink alcohol in the premises so I had wine. And needed to put in the fridge

I loved that the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Everyone there has excellent communication skills. The cost to stay there is affordable considering where the hotel is located and the types of rooms you get... Oh and their air conditioners are functional and if you know Durban, you know that air conditioners are a need for those really humid days.

The neighbouhood is quiet and close to the main areas of attraction. The church next door was also beautiful.

Only suggestion is that the carpet and the shower wall in our guest room could do with a full cleaning for the stains. Because the shower is open plan in the room, the steam and hot air created a bit of a musty smell in the room when we first walked in. Switching on the aircon however can solve that problem easily. I think there should also be a bell or sensor that alerts reception when you pull up at the front gate. Small changes, but not necessarily bad as the overall stay was amazing. These are merely pointers for future improvement.

Staff were absolutely lovely and very helpful at any time of the day. Room was great and comfortable large bed. Lovely big breakfast and the kitchen staff are A+ with great personalities and service. Would definitely recommend this guest house.

Our room was 8. At the top of the stairs and the main way to go to other rooms. so we heard other guests walking up and down the creeky wooden stairs the entire night.

Fish pond outside smells a little bit.

Outside garden needed some attention , and some touch ups needed in the room.

the property is a Victorian home turned into a boutique hotel , the staff were Superb in attending to all the requests. The bed was super comfy , enjoyed the Breakfast on demand , which is an ala-carte breakfast that satisfied my needs. location was great for my needs and type of work. will return back for sure.
