Accomodation could’ve been cleaner. The bamboo on the ceiling in our specific cabin (Shorea) attracts a lot of dust and bugs. Also some mold in the bathroom near the shower. But we’ve seen this is nearly all of our bookings in SA.

Great place to stay, private island so very quiet. Restaurant on the island has good food for breakfast and dinner as well. Would totally recommend!

It says it has an outside pool but it hasn’t been maintained so was dirty which was a real Shame

Amazing staff especially at the bar/restaurant lady. Loved the zebras. Fabulous cocktails and food was delicious.

Perfect getaway for a three year old, there's a playpark, a pool and then there's the zebras. Granny loved the attention to detail in the rooms and the friendliness of all staff members.

We were welcomed buy the best and very friendly ferrie drywer and Giovani made sure to give us excellent guidance and survice, the accommodation is excellent and the cleaning staff should also be mentioned, our breakfast was delivered with a big smile from Poppy and it was warm and tasty, thank you to the kitchen staff. Meagan, you can be very proud of your excellent staff and beautiful facilities! The King Fisher hunting at sunset and the zebra's added to the experience, a hidden gem in SA. A big thumbs up for Standley Island!!!

Literally the only thing I can think of is that the blinds need replacing - just because they were quite tricky to operate and seems quite old! When the rest of the decor is so beautiful and newly refurbished, it'd be good to have better blinds!

The most incredible stay on Stanley Island. The rooms were decorated so beautifully, the grounds were amazing. The restaurant was lovely and food exceptional, really kind staff. And of course.. zebras! It was a truly special stay. The boat worked really well - we just sent a Whatsapp whenever we were ready to leave for the day, and by the time we walked to the jetty they were ready to go. We also did canoeing at sunset which was lovely, and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. Loved it all. Perfect as a couple with our 1 year old, and we will definitely be back with another one!

Breakfast was not good. Coffee was almost undrinkable. Would not recommend getting breakfast. We asked for dessert in our room and they arrived very late and the Malva pudding was burnt. There shouldn't be a free roaming cat on such a property. They will kill birds, also it harassed you for attention and food.

Amazing location, peaceful. Glorious views from your couch and bed. Perfect for sunrise. Tranquil surroundings and relaxed atmosphere. Staff was friendly and helpful. Zebra's , birds and bush buck were amazing to see.

Awesome location with zebras welcoming you home to your room. Great island for some relaxation. Easy to get on and off with boat service available throughout the day.

Long walks to rooms on brick paths where the bricks were broken & many trip hazards. I fell over twice. Kitchen staff extremely slow. No cupboards for clothes.

We had a wonderful time at Stanley Island - the house was beautiful and clean, even the zebras came in the morning to grass in front of the house. The dinner at Stowaway Restaurant was exceptional - highly recommended. Giovanni, the manager on duty, made every effort to make our stay perfect and even taught us how to catch fish. His friendly and kind character made our stay extra special!
