The unique experience of the Dome.

Many bugs found their way into the dome but it's to be expected in a forest area

The dome is definitely a unique experience. Although we couldn't see any stars due to the clouds, watching the rain falling on the dome still looked really nice. The surroundings are beautiful, perfect for those who like the outdoors. The wood fire hot tub was really nice but it takes some time and effort to get it to warm up

The dome is smaller than it looks in pictures and it gets very hot during the day,it has a greenhouse effect. There is air conditioning but the air doesn’t disperse into the whole room based on the installation of the air blowers, you feel the full effect when you’re on the bed. it best to leave the aircon on while you’re outside and let the room cool down. There is a hot air extractor but it’s unbearably noisy hence I recommend you chill outside and let the room cool down. My only other gripe is with the lodge itself, staff wasn’t much hospitable at check-in, the signage for The Dome is poor I actually got lost then struggled to turn car around on a one lane gravel road with a dam few feet away. Lastly, the lodge has no ice machine, I recommend that the room fridge should atleast have a few ice trays available for guests. Please consider extending the 10:00am check-out time to maximise value for money of the space. it’s small enough to get cleaned and refreshed within 45mins allowing ample time for next guests.

Beautiful, secluded, private and perfectly located in PE. I loved the facilities especially the outdoor shower, hot tub and the chill net. The tranquility is unmatched… you get to watch the most beautiful sunsets falling in between hills. There’s also a walking trail within the property as well as shaded picnic spots as well as a pool.

The dome is hot! Like hot! What made it worse was the electricity kept tripping everytime we switch on the outside lights. That affected the extractors and the bathroom and kitchen light, so it became very hot even though the aircon was working. It also meant we couldn’t use the bathroom and kitchen and night coz it became very dark. The telescope was not provided, so we couldn’t gaze on the stars as we had hoped to. The iron was also not provided.

The dome itself is amazing to stay in, it is beautiful and exciting. The surrounding views of the forest and water are breathtaking 🤗. The staff were friendly. The appliances in the kitchenette madee it feels like a home, there iss everything you wouldld need in the kitchen. The TV had all the prime channels.

Booked a picnic...the picnic basket was old and dirty...no help in operating the telescope..never got to gaze the stars...when I asked for assistance with stove staff member said the never got taught how to operate it had to figure it out myself
