Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

South AfricaWhilst not a big TV viewer, there were a couple of channels that were 'frozen' and some where the sound wasn't clear...as if not tuned-in correctly. The double-sided toaster wasn't working, and this was reported to the staff; created a backlog of people awaiting their toast. Or, you had to decide whether you only wanted one side toasted. Nothing critical I guess, but just a couple of things.

South AfricaMore tv channels would be nice like Netflix The tiles in our bathroom were quite old and cracked i feel a revamp will be great to bring up the place The shower door was leaking and because the bathrooms are small it gets flooded easily.
Breakfast was amazing its the only reason why I decided to book here , value for money and plus breakfast inclusive , where most other hotels charge a separate fee . There a was a variety of dishes which my family enjoyed , especially the coffee machine , my son enjoyed the hot chocolate alot. Rooms are quite small if you travelling with a kid thats the only downside especially if you open up the sofa bed there isnt any space to walk in the room. The water pressure in the showers are amazing :) I've never ever been to a hotel ever that had such great water pressure.

ZimbabweAn improvement of the lounge area and also an improvement of the breakfast dining area. Priovision of shuttle service between the hotel and the Airport as well between the Hotel and mall. Housekeeping issues like maintenance of airconditiong units, one of the rooms had no waorkig aircon, whilst the other had a leaking showerd door.
It was a standard meal, vaue for money when considering the rates. Just that the restaurant turned out to be crowded each morning. Otherwise not bad at all
