That there is no mounted aircon. Feel that would be the cherry on top. Found the cooler tricky to get to less than 26 degrees, instructions on how to use it/make it cooler would be great.

The only downside is with the area and not the host or accommodation. We experienced two bouts of power outages at the beginning and end of our stay that were not the scheduled load shedding. Luckily the inverter lasted quite long with conservative use. Unfortunately, the power outage affected the supply of water to the area, leaving us without water in the accommodation for longer than expected. Regardless, I'd still use this place again, as this is something beyond the host's control and no fault of her own.

The apartment was great—modern design, clean and close to any simple needs. The host was very communicative and always ready to help. Although close to the main road, you couldn't hear any traffic whilst inside. The place was cosy and had the basic amenities for a comfortable stay. The place is equipped with an inverter that powers the lights, geyser and TV unit plug point. This place is quite the hidden find and will suit your needs when travelling.

Just a suggestion, have a mirror near a plug so one can use the hairdrier in front of a mirror.

Such a stunning place! I enjoyed staying here so much. It felt like I was at my own place. The host was also always available to attend to any of my queries and answer my questions. It was overall a lovely experience.

The apartment needs air conditioning, the windows for the bedroom & the living area are facing the west so in the afternoon and when the sun sets the entire apartment gets hot.

The backup power lasted for a very long time but the area can sometimes have very long blackouts where you'd need to watch how much power you use. We just did things like turn off the TV and any unused lights for times like those.

Beautifully furnished, and spacious with everything you need. Attention to detail such as: good knives and sharp scissors, extra blankets, extension plugs. We didn't want for anything. It was cleaned every week and the cleaning staff were brilliantly detailed. The backup power was much needed and welcomed. Security at the gate are wonderful and very cautious about who is let into the complex. In South Africa that is very important. Overall we loved staying there. We ended up staying a month in total! Lynn was a fantastic host, very kind and willing to help wherever she could.
