Immaculate property. Loved the mountains, just being one with nature. Perfect getaway for a couple. We also took the dogs and they loved it! No light or noise pollution, so had amazing nights stargazing from the hot tub. Cannot fault a thing!

If I must nitpick - On our trip, we could have done with a little more storage for snacks kept outside the fridge. Handles on some cupboards/drawers in kitchen broken off, but no real issues opening anything. The rental Hyundai i20) made the trip okay, but the little bushes in the middle of the road could be shorter to avoid that gut wrenching sound of branches against the bottom of the car.

Honestly loved almost everything about this. Seamless check in with enough information provided. Everything well thought out. You’ll lack for very little in terms of amenities. Feels like owners spent a couple nights there themselves making it super practical and an ingenious use of space. Branded towels and bedding was a nice touch and testament to attention to detail applied throughout.

Incredible cabin equipped with everything needed for a tranquil and romantic escape. The cabin has tasteful decor and breathtaking views! There's an outdoor barbecue and also a Weber, which came in handy, as it was very windy during our stay. Fortunately, lots of wood was available for both the fireplace and the kolkol, which we enjoyed while the wind blew and we watched the stars – it was truly amazing! The outdoor shower added an extra spoil. We are definitely planning to return!

The roof structure makes a constant noise as it expands and contracts throughout the day and night, which isn't ideal for a light sleeper. The bed wasn't the most comfortable as it was quite hard, but that may just be a preference thing.

The location and property is exquisite. We really felt like we were alone and isolated which made for a wonderful romantic getaway. The room layout and furnishings are so tasteful and all the amenities provided were more than sufficient!

We loved everything about our stay at Suidster! The cabin was spotlessly clean, the furnishings were extremely comfortable and the location was fantastic. It felt like the owners really thought about every little detail in order to make the cabin perfect. The photos don't do it any justice! We felt completely secluded and were able to really relax in a stunning environment. We thoroughly enjoyed our walks on the property and the wood-fired hot tub was amazing. We loved every second of our stay and Willem was so helpful and just a delight to deal with. We cannot wait to return to Suidster!

I loved EVERYTHING about Suidster! Normally these mountain cabins are extremely expensive and also very hard to access (e.g. you need a 4x4), but Suidster was super easy to access with my small car, affordable, and still exceeded my expectations. The mountain views, the silence, the stars, all so good for the soul, and not to mention the outdoor shower, the fireplace, and the wood-fired hot tub! I was struggling with the wood so Willem, the host, came to my place at a convenient time and helped me with the wood and starting a fire. Honestly I would 10000% recommend this place!

The cell phone reception in cottage 2 is terrible, the wifi supplied is very slow. The cottage needs a roof over one of the patios so you can sit outside while its raining. The units are just a little pricey

The Location and isolation of the two cottages is great. Absolute piece and quite. The owner very kindly supplied ample firewood. The walks into the mountains where great felt safe at all times. The very clean wood fired Jacuzzi was a real treat

One of the most stunning getaways that we’ve ever experienced and the design we instantly fell in love with! Industrial look meets modern luxury in a breathtaking natural setting with 360 degrees view. Only joy and relaxation, so peaceful and idyllic - the mountains, the fynbos, the birds and the privacy. The level of cleanliness and attention to detail were top notch and we also appreciated how well thought-through/equipped everything was. Would love to stay there forever.

Honestly, I cannot think of one thing! We enjoyed every bit of it .

Everything about this stay was perfect. The Host was awesome to begin with, going out of his way to make our stay the best. The view, the peace, incredible nature surrounding us and of course the beautiful mountains as our view from every window was just so amazing. This beautiful open plan, modern/industrial inspired location was everything we had in mind for our honeymoon.

The facilities were fabulous. The setting was magnificent. Absolute peace and tranquility- perfect place to unwind and recharge batteries. Hosts were attentive but extremely discreet. There is nothing to fault and we will certainly return as soon as possible. The fact that the property is totally off grid meant that we were not affected by load shedding.

The hot tub was cold on arrival.

We absolutely loved the accommodation at Suidster. The Hosts really thought of everything! We truly enjoyed our stay. The hot tub with the spectacular view as well as the hiking trail in the mountain.

easier to read written directions and better signage at the turnoff as the Waze app is not accurate, but that's a tiny niggle, there was a ton of cut wood but smaller pieces to start fire would have been nice

there was a passcode for the gate and key in the door - perfect. Absolutely every little thing was there for us in the kitchen that anyone could possibly need and the views to die for on all sides of the house yet privacy and an amazing Kolkol hot tub! an off grid perfectly designed house in every way that combines modern with a clever touch of rustic and a huge comfy bed with a mountain view - basically = bliss

Everything was absolutely fantastic, so can’t fault anything but, Just a note*: We took our dog with us and because she came along on the walk with us she had a couple of ticks on her. Just good to be aware of this.

I really was able to rest. Being in nature like this really makes you relax and breathe. I loved the accommodation, beautifully designed and also super comfy. With nature all around it is the the perfect pairing.
