The one bedroom unfortunately doesnt have a window so doesn't get fresh air, and the bathroom is a bit cramped, but perfectly alright for a short stay, and this is remedied by the fans that kept us cool in the hot weather!

We loved the outside garden/pool area and the general layout/decor of the cottage. It was so well equipped and perfectly suited to our needs! The hosts are absolutely wonderful, friendly and accomodating people. We really appreciated all the info and tips for our holiday itinerary and their care!

Comfortable bed in a quiet location to the side of the property. Super shower and really lovely touches like the milk included inside the fridge. And the bottle of water. The property was easily accessible and I felt very safe and secure. I didn't swim, but the lovely pool to the other side of the property, looked very promising.

The single room is a bit small but cozy enough for young backpacking individuals.

The hosts, Colleen and Andreies, are great people who are pleasantly welcoming. We had good conversations. Her mother is such a lovely lady. They have a beautiful garden.

I loved everything about this cottage and its location

I am absolutely delighted to report that I had the most amazing experience booking this cottage with Colleen The Summer Sand Holiday Cottage itself was set in a beautiful secluded and safe part of Scottburgh in South Africa . What made the cottage stand out the most however was the beautiful array of Tropical plants and trees that gave the cottage that outstanding exotic feel. The cottage is also well guarded with Remote control security gates and CCTV Cameras for your safety. The weather was great ! The pool was kept always nice and clean and very welcoming for a morning swim Coming from UK it was really amazing to experience the warmth of this cottage and the fact that we never experienced any sort of issues with loss of Electricity, which was certainly a bonus, especially knowing that South Africa suffers from intermittent Load Shedding. As a result the WIFI was always constant with fast download speeds, something I admire as I needed the laptop for my remote work. The bedrooms were really welcoming and clean and the Kitchen / Bathroom is exceptionally beautifully designed. In Summary I would add that booking the Summer Sand Holiday cottage was the best move i ever made and Im really grateful that we met such a warm welcoming host like Colleen, who by the way has a good sense of humour and great hospitality. skills Thank you once again Colleen for this memorable stay.😎😎👍👍

There's was nothing which we were unhappy about.

Was the cleanest place we have stayed at, room was spotless, bed was very comfortable, facility has an invertor and not affected by loadshedding, the host was awesome and friendly, real value for money, Rooms were equipped with the latest appliances and good quality TV, nextflix, YouTube and Prime video available. Big thumps up, WIFI worked perfectly, Good location 2 minutes away from the mall. Would definitely recommend.

Need to drive to the main beach which is most attractive.

Nothing to complain about, everything was in top order.

The pool was in a secluded area surrounded by the most beautiful garden, it was a quiet not too much traffic or noise, the facilities like the shopping center, beach and restaurants were close by. The house itself has a very modern layout, the upper rooms have the most amazing big windows that reveal a tropical garden, what a wonderful place to stay. The staff are friendly and very helpful.

Very well priced and in a beautiful and quite location. Close to all the main conveniences. Load shedding proof for vital appliances which is a huge plus. Host was very attentive and engaging. I was solo but would love to bring the family next time. Quiet and relaxing.

Only the loadshedding issue was a problem and there being fans instead of an aircon.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The place was intimate, clean and really affordable even during peak season. I will definitely stay there again.
