We were welcomed by the hosts and made to feel at home right away. Addo is very close to the B&B which is a real bonus. The Spar and restaurant being so close by, within walking diatance, was extremely helpful as well. We would highly recommend staying over.

Port Elizabeth is not a safe city, although the guest house did everything possible to keep us safe.

The property is very safe, as they have CCTV and electric fences. The room is clean and comfortable, and you can easily tell that they really paid attention to details. It is really nice to walk along the river behind the property in the morning or evening. What I like the most is the manager, Leanne. She is a wise lady and very informative. She gave me a lot of tips about travelling in South Africa and also Addo Elephant Park. I told her I wanted to try bobotie before I left the country and she recommended me to visit Nanaga Farm Stall. Thanks to Leanne, I managed to find bobotie pie there =) Unfortunately, I was only there for one night. If not, I really think that there are many things that I can learn from her

Sundune is a well equipped, neat and clean property. It was very safe and our host, Leanne was kind and knowledgeable about the area. The beds were excellent. The room was clean and the shower was very good. The room had a tv with a good selection of channels and the property was not affected by loadshedding. The house has access to the river. We went for a lovely walk and the restaurant was was only a few 100m from the property. With good food and good staff. Our breakfast was excellent. With full English as well as cereals, yoghurts and a beautiful freshly made fruit salad. Our host and her staff were also excellent. All and all it was exceptional value for money. We highly recommend it. It is only 10 minutes from the Addo South Gate entrance.

Everything was perfect. A very warm welcome from the owner , explained everything. The room was like in the description and clean. All staff was super friendly and helpful for every need. And the access to Addo elephant park is just a 5 minute drive , super easy. Highly recommend to choose

Not really concerning the accommodation itself, but consider there is only one place close by to get some dinner. Tasty food though!

You guys will meet the most caring host. It’s been like visiting your favorite aunt :) Very good location to visit Addo national park. Good breakfast, comfy bed, tidy bathroom, secure parking.

Is was great we felt home right away. The hotel manager was the most nice and hospital person with wonderful recommendations and tips. She took great care of us. Breakfast was great, location is very convenient towards addo elephant park (South Gate) with shop, restaurant at walking distance. Beds were very good, WiFi was good. I would definitely come back.

Lovely stay! Definitely would recommend this to everyone who wants to visit Addo Elephant Park. Location was great, near by a nice restaurant, supermarket and fuel station. Also close to the gate for Addo Elephant Park. Super friendly staff. Breakfast was delicous. Also nice walks near by the river.

I guess it is necessary, but we didn't feel comfortable having to lock every single door, even within the gates and the walls of the property.

Spacious room, bathroom okay but a bit small. Breakfast was the regular you get all over SA, not bad at all. Leanne is very friendly. At the other side of the crossing is a gas station, Spar supermarket and a restaurant. Pizza's are not bad there. The place is in the middle of nowhere, but convenient when you've visited Addo Park all day, or going to do the next day.

Fresh fruit salad with muesli and yoghurt, followed by a lovely cooked breakfast served in a lovely bright dining room. Great location for access to Addo South entrance and the Pearson Park Resort at Sundays River. We were able to walk to Taste of Africa for our evening meal which we really enjoyed.

Was lovely to be so close to the river but the fact that it's right near to the spar with many drunk people walking around made us feel a bit unsafe with a toddler
