The hosts and staff members are friendly. Great conversationalist, full of info regarding the animals there. The food was great, we had an amazing time there. They offer the big 5 game drive and a few excursions. Real value for money, thank you Toni and Vincent

A unique experience, very friendly and helpful staff who make you feel as if you were at home. Very nice and clean place, and the rooms are surrounded by nature, and the animals that come to visit. Not to mention the amazing food. Exceptional safari organization with very competent team. We will definitely be back!

From the moment I arrived, the lodge's serene surroundings transported me into a world of calmness and beauty. The lodge's architecture seamlessly blends with the lush landscape, creating a harmonious fusion of comfort and nature. The towering trees that envelop the lodge add an air of mystique, while the distant mountains serve as a breathtaking backdrop. Accommodations at Sunset Lodge are nothing short of exquisite. My spacious and elegantly appointed room boasted modern amenities while retaining a rustic charm that perfectly complemented the natural setting. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the cozy bedding to the carefully selected decor elements that highlighted the lodge's connection to its environment. One of the lodge's standout features is its commitment to providing a truly immersive experience. It was the best accommodation we have had in our time in South Africa. No specific points to do better.

The owners are the best hosts with. They are helpful in any way they can to give you the best experience in the bush they can. They also have a lot of knowledge. The food they make is also very good! The accommodation is very clean and very well maintained. We saw all kinds of wildlife on the property. In the evening around the fire with a good wine was a very nice place to talk about the experiences of the day. The hosts know a lot of people so they have good tips about which guide to hire for certain experiences in the area.

Nothing all was great

To start with the hosts are the best you will come across, thoughtful , attentive and they will go above and beyond making your stay as good as they possibly can ; Vincent knows everything about they animals and can tell you all you want to know , the kids ( 12,18,21 years old ) loved his stories ; the food that is prepped is fresh and great , the atmosphere is really nice ; it is focused on interaction at the campfire 🔥…at the tables ….. we liked the afternoon game drive , the big 5 drive and the bushwalk ; and we saw big elefant , big Tusker , Esulwini , 🐘 which was absolutely fabulous ; so in all , top stay , top place , top hosts , great activities but also a place to relax ! Just go there and enjoy 😊

Sunset Lodge Thank you to Vincent and Toni for an amazing stay at Sunset Lodge. You thought of everything to make us feel at home. From the moment we arrived, you both welcomed us with unbelievable hospitality. Our Lodge was crispy clean, exceptionally comfortable and cosy. Not forgetting your outdoor shower , it was invigorating and liberating. We enjoyed the sumptuous healthy meals you prepared and our morning and evening conversations were special. We truly were in awe of the animals we encountered on your reserve. You booked all our activities and made life easier for us. You added that personal touch to all you did and we appreciate that immensely. Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to you and your team for making our stay so unforgettable. We will definitely visit our"home away from home" again.

The staff were so welcoming and the room was clean. The environment itself so beautiful though the weather didn't permit us for game drive, I will definitely go back.

Suggestion: Have a menu for guests.

The location is perfect for anyone loving the bush. Tranquil and safe. Perfect get away from the maddening crowds of city life. The attention to detail is amazing. A gem in the bush. The affordable accommodation and delicious home cooked meals makes Sunset Game Lodge perfect.
