As in most resorts, outside night lighting is essential. The curtains could therefore be lined with “ blockout” material to eliminate the brightness of the outside lighting.

Everything in the 2 bedded chalet was spanking brand new. The cottages have been beautifully renovated and are great for a short stay, the resort is well maintained and we enjoyed a very pleasant weekend.

Very clean, the staff was amazingly friendly. Ruan was top staff member and the gent at the bar was so friendly. We felt safe with the kids running around as the security was very alert.

Friendly staff, especially the receptionist. Environment is well groomed and looked after. Enjoyed the beautiful scenery while on the hike. Ablution blocks were always clean. Would definitely recommend camping/caravanning area.

Close proximity to the Blyde River dam cruise jetty. Lots of animals like baboon, Guinea fowl, Kudu and antelope in the property. Lots of space for leisure walk

The air-conditioning unit was as noisy as a Tupolev taking off. Evenings are pleasantly cool though.

I have known Swadini for over 40 years, but it has been more than 20 years since my last visit. I was blown away by how fabulously it is maintained. The pools look remarkable, considering they are almost 50 years old. We only stayed one night, but will be back for a week! There are breathtaking mountain views, fabulous wildlife (you may even spot endangered African painted dogs!) and some of the most spectacular hiking trails on the planet. I went spotlighting at about 10pm and saw thick tailed mongoose, duiker, waterbuck, kudu, a wood owl and several bush babies. There are baboons, vervet monkeys, trumpeter hornbills, Guinea fowl and a myriad of other bird species. This place is paradise.

The place was awesome, seeing the baboons,monkies and kudu's around the area.i found the peace I was looking for in that place Pools were super clean n relaxing, Boat cruise was amazing quard biking as well I wish I had more time

The location was far as we are from Pretoria, but it was a nice experience. Maybe also if the staff can be more helpful with the info regarding the activities, unlike to refer us to the company that is dealing with activities
