Everything! This was one of the most fabulous stays I have ever booked on Booking.com. The host Nadia was amazing. She had everything arranged for me even though I came in on a late flight and was only checking in at around midnight. The Valet took my car to the parking for me so I could go straight to check in. The room is absolutely fantastic. It is really huge with high ceilings and opulalently carpeted and furnished. I had meetings the next day but switched them to online meetings just so I could stay in and enjoy the room more. There is 24 hours room service with a delicious and comprehensive menu. I couldn't fault my stay from the staff to the cleanliness, the linen the beds, everything was just perfect. I will definitely be staying there again on my next trip to Cape Town. I suggest you do the same.

The wording of the advertisement for the room implied that there was a sauna in the room, which is not the case. Nonetheless, we had complimentary access to the spa so absolutely no complaints.

Attention to detail was impeccable. Staff were all kind, friendly, and helpful. The room was very comfortable. We were very impressed at the extra mile all of the staff went through to make our wedding anniversary memorable.

The hotel was absolutely stunning. The exterior was only eclipsed by the interior decoration. The staff were welcoming and couldn’t do enough to ensure that your stay, like the property, was first class. I cannot recommend this property highly enough

This is one of the best stays I have ever had. The hotel, Apartment and Staff were all top of tier. This was just like in the commercial where the Dad walks opens the door and walks into the room/apartment and throws up his arms in pure joy!! But it didn't stop there with the excellence of the staff.

I wasn't told that breakfast ordered (including selected and picked by me) would be brought up to my room at an extra charge. I was very disappointed to not have had this kind of communication and then being surprised by breakfast arriving 20 minutes later than when I'd picked up the food downstairs myself and then being asked to pay for it. If I hadn't been so drained I would have fought this and spoken to the wonderful Manager, Nadia. This almost ruined my stay but the stay was overall so good that I've chosen to overlook this.

Potentially the best service I've encountered at a hotel in Cape Town. Really impressed by the quality of the staff and the always friendly and efficient service. The room was spectacular and I enjoyed having a lovely balcony to get some fresh air.

We had a suite which was massive and spotlessly clean. It had a full kitchen and washing machine which we did not use, but may be helpful for others to know. The hotel interiors are impeccable and all staff were incredibly helpful. The location of the hotel in close proximity to parliament means it does not suffer from load shedding like the rest of Cape Town, however we did find there was a need to use Uber. This is related to personal safety in South Africa and is not specific to The Taj. We stayed a number of nights down in the Waterfront at another top rated hotel and when we return to Cape Town we will stay at The Taj the entire time. It simply does not compare!
