Facilities need some TLC. Units need a upgrade and maintenance.

The view and the peaceful stay

The so-called farm foreman was extremely rude on arrival. Water was always on and off. Instead of being told that it was on a timed water pump. Internet was on for 2 days, then off for the rest of our t8me there.

The view was awesome, and it's so peaceful. All you can hear is the animals. Stunning sunsets. Ester was so friendly and welcoming, making you feel like you were at home

The farmworkers makes noise at night. The terrible 11km gravel road from the main road to the venue was kept a secret from me. There is no security lights in the parking area. No undercover parking for vehicles, only trees. The owner knew the sliding door at the chalet behind us was broken and did not fix it, that Friday night they were robbed of laptops, cellphones, wallets & clothing - this is unacceptable. When we arrived we were informed about the leaking kitchen sink pipe that caused a terrible smell exactly where u must prepare your food, it was clear on the rotten wood that it is an old leak. I will not recommend this farm house at all. The bathroomdoos cant close. There is no burglar bars in front of the windows. The ceiling fan is 3m above the bed and makes a terrible sound when turned on. The chain at the main entrance is too short for comfort, it takes u 15 min to get out or in.

The number of cockroaches in the unit were excessive and the place needs to be professionally fogged. The farm has got loads of junk lying around and the single remaining horse looks like it needs to be put out of its misery. There was a decided disconnect between the website and reality which claimed there were horse trails on offer..

The location was beautiful with a nice view of the mountains. Pool was clean and lovely. Nice to be on a farm out of the city.

The owner of the establishment is very rude. We ended up not staying the second (paid for) night. He should not put his number on the booking.com contact list, rather put Esther’s. He cannot deal with paying customers.

Esther gave us the BIGGEST and MOST FRIENDLIEST welcome! She is a definite asset to this establishment. I wish I had her number sooner.

The place did need more maintenance but was comfortable. The access road needs regrading.

I missed the part where no soap was provided - that would have been good. Also there was no washing up soap in our room but the other room did have so we made a plan.

It really was comfortable and suited our needs as well as our budget.

The road to the place is a nightmare, luckily we were driving a 4x4 vehicle. Owner claimed they drive the road twice a month and any normal vehicle would make it. Owner is very unfriendly. Didn't see the owner once the entire 5 nights that we were there.

When the power goes off due to load shedding the water is also affected. We had an issue where there was load shedding and then a pipe burst and there wasn't water for a while. The host did provide us with drinking water which was great.

This place is great for those who want to take time out from the hustle and bustle of the city. it is tranquil and calm. There are also cute animals and you can experience nature by taking a hike or wandering around the ranch.

The place is a bit run down. The pool area is not fabulous. The water in the showers and basins doesn't always work. However, this could also be due to loadshedding. It is a farm environment so the flies were understandable. However, even though they have done their best to try to fix the issue, the flies did make it a bit frustrating.

It was quiet, and we did find it peaceful. Esther, the staff on site is very welcoming. The view from the accommodation is beautiful and there are nice long walks where you can see giraffes etc.

The uncomfortable bed and bad bedding. Staff/owner not informing that water are switched off at a. specific time. No information on trial walk and routes, also no horse riding as advertised. ☹️ Staff can be more attentive and informed to advise visitors.

The fact that we had to use candles when it was loadshedding the place is very dark and they don't change towels daily

The activities there were very poor. The activities aren't inside the accommodation but apparently they're in the surrounding area. They're no activities in that accommodation. So they advertised activities were false or they didn't state that the activities aren't inside the accommodation. You can go there for the cleanliness but not for activities.

The rooms were very clean. The beds were soo comfortable.

The drive there is extremely confusing. The owner pointed out some directions beforehand, but not nearly sufficient. It took us nearly an additional hour on the road to find the place. In adiiton, we barely had any hot water. Only had one hot shower in the 3 days we stayed there. Some due to loadshedding

The mountains are your backyard. Its absolutely stunning and beautiful. Good place to go switch off from the hustle of the city
