Always great to be right in the middle of nature, but the baboons can be intimidating.

The serene setting was remarkable, getting a frontrow seat of nature's sunrise. Very comfortable and relaxing.

The only thing we can say about the room is that its a beautiful concept,its just a bit out dated and can get a splash of more colour and features to liven it up again. We can see that the haven was built a while back in the past so just a bit of modern additions will give it its fizz back😉

Obviously the veiw of the Rock haven is fabulous and that is the reason why we booked it. The bath with the veiw is the main feature of the room and is worth it and lovely to just sit in it and star gaze in to the night sky!

The couch was not the comfiest! Maybe a slightly bigger fan! But other than that not much to complain about!!

The chalet was absolutely gorgeous! The view and the open windows by the bathtub were just magical! I love how the chalet was built around the rocks! Kitchen was fully equipped! Everything was just the perfect romantic getaway! Location is amazing and perfect for hikes in the mountains

Although the experience of the interior of the chalet was very modern, clean and attractive, some better subdued lighting would have enhanced the experience. One thing that really surprised me was that although the interior was excellent, the balcony floor especially looked neglected. One plank was broken, but right on top of a joint so no danger at all, it could just scare some people thinking that they could fall trough. The lights next to the beds were a bit odd with the switch right above the shade, so you had to get out of bed to switch the light off. Another strange feature of those lights was that the lights only managed to illuminate the bedside tables, so not useful for reading by!! As far as the parking is concerned it would be helpful to smooth out the parking area floor from sticking out rocks, which would make for smooth parking. As far as electronic communication is concerned we could only use Vodacom, but surprisingly enough we received Vodacom in the Chalet, Dassie, aka 'Little Heaven'

I would have liked a heater for the cold moring because it doenst make sence making a new fire if you have to check out at 10:00

the road to go to the chalet was terrible i got a flat wheel, they didnt have 2 point plugs so we needed to go down again to reception to buy some, and they didnt advise to buy wood for the fireplace that was the only way to warm up the room, but could buy it also in reception.

During load shedding, the backup light was not working as it’s unplugged and an extension plugged for the booster. Get get a double plug, problem solved

To be absolutely honest, there was nothing we didn't like beside network issues. This is SA, no need to say more. Loadshitting happens. If you are the adventure type make sure you have a pair of sneakers or boots for the hiking trails. The pool area could be maintained better. There is a hiking trail to a cave with exceptional views. Perhaps some informative information like formation, types and facts would be great for travelers to read about when you get there. Also a bench or sculptured art so you can relax and enjoy the views.

Hidden in the mountains. What a gem of a location. The landscape and surrounding totally blew me away. So rare to find such diverse landscape of beauty. Awesome Views and tranquility just listening to the wonderful symphonies of the local bird life. Self-catering so make sure you are well prepared. To relax and unwind from the city life without Network and Netflix, this is a great location. We will definitely return.
