the staff at reception seemed like you’re bothering them if you asked a question. the security and staff at breakfast were amazing and went extra mile to make it special. and OMG then they started banging hammers at 8 am in the morning, on Friday who does that? surely maintenance work can be scheduled for a little later?

The service was hit and miss at best especially pool side if you could find anyone.. the rooms are tired yet a refurb is being undertaken yet at what level I have no idea - there is a complete lack of proactivity from the staff - if you ask someone will come and assist... They lost so much money from myself and other guests due to the lack of connectivity with clients... Mini bar is complimentary it was 2 cokes 2 juice on day one - oh we dont replace it even if I am happy to pay.. a week later no sign of a refill - coffee ask... it has lost it's shine for sure I appreciate it is at end of season yet the hotel is far far away from where it used to be having stayed their on many occasions previously... Disengaged is probably the best way to describe the experience...

Great breakfast and amazing location in the heart of camps bay... sunsets.... Housekeeping room clean and managed throughout the stay. They did drop me to town to collect a hire car as the hire companies no longer deliver them to the hotel.

The hotel is a little bit dated, and not up to the standard given the price we paid for this stay. It’s not a luxury hotel. The bathroom lights didn’t work every morning, but all other lights in the room did.

The breakfast and staff were all lovely. The location was fantastic with amazing views from the hotel.

We had a small issue with the outlets in our room that took a while to resolve.

This hotel was in a great location with a view right across the street from the ocean. It was very convenient to other restaurants and almost everything else. Breakfast was delicious!

For the high price I paid I expected a better room; the shower temperature was too hot, the sliding doors fell off the hinges, and the walls/windows are thin so the noise from outside was sometimes a bit much.

Great location in the heart of Camps Bay, with a chill pool area with sea view, good view from the room also! Clean rooms and friendly staff. Easy to walk safely to all restaurants and bars (as I was a solo traveller).

The bay is always our first to go hotel in the beginning of our Cape Town travels!! This year was extra special because we gave a big party at the sand B. Which was a great success!!

Bedrooms in need of a lick of paint / modernisation. We went meant to have a Mountain View but it was just the back of the hotel. Hotel staff tried to charge us £75 for a 15 minute drive.

The staff was extremely kind, also to our toddler. Great breakfast. Great swimmingpool area with different pools and nice (affordably) bistromenu. The best location where you can walk out and you are at the beach and multiple nice restaurants and coffeespots.

The breakfast service was weak compared to staff elsewhere in hotel You regularlry had to seek out a staff member to order tea/coffee and cooked breakfast options The location of our room was at the back with a mountain view Unfortunately our room also over looked the padel courts which were busy from early to 10pm and much noisier than we were expecting - not a very "quiet" room.

Service was available when requested eg, transport to Camps Bay retreat, trouble shooting of television where chosen channels could not be accessed. But response time was slow and we ended up waiting for a long time.

Hotel was very closed to restaurants and shops. The costal view of the ocean was very beautiful and could be reached very easily right across from the hotel. Transport and the tourist bus was readily available.
