Small pool may not suit everyone, but we are not here for swimming; I am aware of the corridor light on all night, though a curtain above the door screens most light out.

Very comfortable room with high ceilings; big comfortable super king bed; nicely appointed; really convenient for the centre of town which is a 5 mins walk away.

Great location close to the town centre and wine tram shuttle service. We were able to drop off our bags early in the day and park our hire car before heading off on our wine tram experience. In the evening it was a short walk to the centre for dinner. The room was lovely, clean with a very comfortable bed and a great bathroom.

Absolutely nothing The Belmont could do to make the experience better. It's wonderful, and they really do 110% care.

The Belmont is a wonderful home away from home. CJ takes care of his guests personally, & the comfort & quality is off the charts. The location is a short walk away from the hub of the town, it is safe & secure, and there is always parking. It was our second stay & we are hoping to return shortly. The self-catering equipment and amenities are the absolute best, and it is clear that the owners not only have excellent taste, but also invest in offering the best of the best. We really cannot fault The Belmont, and want to make a special note that even when things go wrong through no fault of the hosts, they really do put their guests first & work relentlessly to make sure your stay is 10/10. I had to park my car under a tree and am still struggling to eliminate all the leaves that blew onto the car. In addition, the parking isn't behind a gate or under a shade or roof. That would be a nice addition.

Beautiful, comfortable room. Linen was soft and luxurious, and the bathroom was big and comfortable. The room is beautiful and while it's not the biggest has great features like a delicious coffee machine. Within walking distance from downtown Franschhoek, which means you don't have to worry about parking in this always-busy area.

Ideally located small hotel set one street back from the main road in Franschhoek. Easy walking to many restaurants and small shops. Beautiful and quirkily designed rooms. Delightful staff.

Would rather have had a shower instead of a bath. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Could do with some carpeting in the passage to help deaden the noise at night when other guests come home.

The situation is very convenient. Property is nicely kept.
