The concierge service is not up to standard. No smile, no assistance and it seems they feel disturbed and annoyed when you approach them. Every activity requires cash and there is not an ATM in sight. We ended up doing none of the activities. Surely this affects revenue.

Angel is a gracious and helpful host. The apartment was clean and neat and he made sure that he was in touch with me and provided assistance all the way without complaint. The security is excellent and we had back up power during loadshedding. The Security Guards are friendly and helpful. Beautiful and warm water even in cool weather gave us a refreshing swim. The Spa Treatment on site is amazing if you want to treat yourself.

Block 57 room 685. We found a room smelling terribly. Bedding used , bed sunken in and smelling dirty socks / shoes . There was no even a toilet toll. TV not working. I have never seen a horrible room like that for that amount of R1.400 . Even local quest houses doing better than you and at n affordable price of less than R500.00. Hoster Angel Unarine , please tell me exactly what did I pay for?? Or m I missing something??. Out of 10 Angel Unarine ,I will give that room and your service - minus 5 . Overall, that tells me why you didn't even show up. I should have took a picture of that terribly sunken thing that looked like a bed

⚠️Warning⚠️ This apartment is not managed by the Blyde Riverwalk Estate, but by an individual called 🚩"Angel."🚩 Unfortunately, this guy is a SCAM and made up so many stories after payments were well received in advance. We drove all the way from Limpopo to Pretoria only to be stuck, after this 🚩"Angel"🚩 guy stood us up. Only later, he told us the accommodation is no longer available, blah blah blah. He later switched off his phone and did not answer. ⚠️Be WARNED⚠️. Thankfully, I made payment through Booking.com and managed to get a refund days later. 🥵However, my holidays were already ruined🥵. My advice is that if you decide to lodge at the "Blyde," rather use the actual Blyde website instead of this crooked, trying to catfish unsuspecting victims. If, however, you decide to go ahead, make sure you pay directly to Booking.com and keep the communication on this app, not WhatsApp, for reference, if he decided to drop the ball. ⚠️BE warned ⚠️

That we did not have a fan or an air-con in the bedroom. It was hot at night.

The place apartments are clean. The lagoon gives a unique feeling in the entire Pretoria. I felt safe from the moment i drove into the estate. Our host Angel made us feel comfortable and showed us around the estste. It's a beautiful place. We love it.
