It says pool side view but we had no pool side view, basin taps was leaking an the shower cold water tap didn’t work , the key cards didn’t work ,had to walk far to get it sorted

Warm baths was stunning and the breakfast buffet was brilliant

1. At arrival staff are not welcoming at all , for a first time at the property nothing was explained or given more information about what you can experience 2. I was not informed about paying a tourism levy on arrival 3 When paying, the credit card machine declined my tourism levy amount but yet went off on my account , it was a R29, 92 which ain’t a big deal but it was quite annoying 4 we had dinner at the black sheep restaurant, take in mind I don’t like a bank card in general and prefer Apple Pay due to security reasons , towards the end of our dinner one of the waiters informed us that the credit card machine is not working or offline , that was an inconvenience,

The TV in our room (Rm 250) had poor picture quality on most channels and no picture and a lot of other channels. The heater in the room did not heat the room sufficiently. Fridge in the room made a funny noise from time to time but it's probably something small which might bother other visitors a lot more than ourselves.

1st breakfast was not the best as food was hard to chew but warm enough to eat (bacon and croissants was exceptionally hard) but overall a great variety and value and Blue Crane staff was very helpful and friendly. Hotel Staff was friendly and helpful. Facilities are neat and tidy and clean. Forgot/misplaced my mobile phone on departure but when I phoned the hotel to enquire staff was fast and efficient to search the room and luckily it was found in the room. Greatly appreciate Asanda's assistance.

The shower was in the bath and the bathtub is very narrow so we had a cramped up shower. But either way it was the only problem.

The fact that the staff was so friendly and helpful to our requests. Nobody bothered us. It was nice and quiet and there was quick response to every request.

Noise in the passageway, the kids running and shouting down the hall. I think it was mainly because we were situated near to the reception.

Staff at reception could be more friendly. We asked for early check in and it was approved but when we arrived was greeted with "Checking only at 14:00" without even asking if arrangements were made. Only when they were told that arrangements were made did they allow us check in. Rooms are very dated. Also kept finding these bugs in the room. Room had a shower in the tub with a shower curtain which didn't really work that well and the bathroom was flooded everything after showering. Limited options for lunch and supper. Both restaurants have the same menu with the exception of Da Vinci having pasta and pizzas.

Breakfast was great. The facilities are great especially the natural springs.

Parking is for the hotel is not very convenient and a walk away from the hotel.

I received great service upon my arrival. The staff member Valecia sorted out everything for me. Everything I requested and asked for was done. No complaints from my side. You guys have great staff. Thank you so much for making my stay a pleasurable one.

The hotel rooms need a serious upgrade. The food at DaVinci is overpriced and not value for money. The chips were terrible. Beverages and snacks at the shops also very overpriced. Some of the staff are not knowledgeable about opening times and basic hotel information. The information on the website is also outdated. It was very difficult to get a proper updated spa menu as well. When you arrive there is no one to assist with luggage or directions. Unfornately we had a room right at the end of the hotel that was played by bugs at night. We had to eventually be moved to another room. The two rooms at the end 250 and 251 should just not be used as the bugs get in through the doors.

Rooms had old carpet in and the bathroom needs an upgrade. Old bath in it. The warm water pools need a thorough cleaning as the bottom is very dirty/slippery.

Staff was very friendly and excellent buffet breakfast.

The breakfast was not the best , musli and pancakes were hard, cuppachino, coffee, and apple juice were horrific, and nuts were soft. I felt like it was not fresh. The maintenance on the rooms could be better , the towel racks are somewhat rusted and there were 2 occasions where we noticed cockroaches in the room.Also when booking I booked a king pool facing room and when I got there I was given a standard room with a king bed , not pool facing . I was told at reception that if I had wanted the room I saw in the photo, I'd have to pay an extra R200 per night, which was very disappointing. Other than that, the gaming facility is now closed, which is also so disappointing as there's nothing else to do other than be in the pools or the room if you're not into gambling. Also, there are only a few DSTV channels that works I'd suggest getting some Netflix/ YouTube as an option. Most of the time, we were watching on our phones as dstv channels available are not capturing at all

The pools , the staff was amazing and very friendly also I feel like the maintenance of the pool and spa area was just amazing, even the security over there were friendly and helpful

The rooms are in need of TLC. Chipped paint, door handles needing tightening, bathroom razor plug was dirty and no plugs by the bedsides. The curtains needed a clean. It was more a good 3 star rather than a 4 star hotel because of this.

The friendly and helpful staff was a pleasure to see. The location was beautiful. The pools were relaxing.

They didn’t have paths for disabled persons it’s a lot of stairs going to the pools and also going to the rooms there was no disabled pathway. There’s only one small restaurant you can have your supper in with no enough staff

The fact that our room were close to people who had children, were quite a disturbance. The level of noise were pathetic.

Breakfast was over and above our expectations. Waiters were very hands-on. They did a great job. Very friendly

The rooms need modernisation, carpets terribly dusty and the bath towels smelly. The shower head in the bathroom cannot be adjusted to if you’re taller than 1,6m it’s problematic.

Set in a lush green landscape, with ponds, various pools and Spa facilities.
