Our bathroom was dated and showed signs of wear and tear but I got the impression that bathrooms were being refitted over a course of time at this hotel although it always very clean

Loved the boutique hotel feel. Lovely pool and garden area and very modern/ stylish interiors. A special word has to go to Gift who went above and beyond to help us during our stay. We were last minute guests due to our flight being overbooked home. Even after we checked out, Gift set up everything we needed to ensure we could relax by the pool for the day, even giving us access to showers and lending a hair dryer so we were fresh for the airport! Thanks to the team!

Very friendly staff, welcomed us with fresh lemonade and allowed early check in. Our last day on a 3 week SA trip we spend most of the afternoon chilling by the pool, we had a great time here. Room was very large and the bed comfortable. Location is great, lots of good restaurants in a walking distance.

The friendliness of the staff from walking onto the property was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spacious, spotless and so comfortable. The food at breakfast and round the pool was tasty and always had that home cooked feel. The gardens and pools were immaculate!! Overall, a fantastic experience and would well recommend!!! 5 star treatment!!!

Location is very good for both beaches and the city. The garden is so peaceful with two pools and a sunny aspect, well maintained and not too busy. Feels like you are in the country in the middle of the city. The staff make the place special, all are welcoming and friendly. In this area, the star of the show is named Gift, he fixed an early tricky little problem regarding the booking with great panache, and was ever present with his gentle banter which made it great fun to see him during our stay. Breakfast was great, and the view from the dining room over the gardens, city to sea was very tranquil. We look forward to staying in this lovely boutique hotel soon again.

Our room was located on the same floor as the lobby so we could hear people outside, which specifically was frustrating early in the morning. Would be great to have a door with better isolation. But it’s only that one room that has the issue

The hotel is very nice, has a small boutique hotel feeling. Stuff is amazing, they all know who you are. We really enjoyed our stay.

It was really nice place to be. As we stayed multiple days. You know personnel by name. It becomes very personal experience. Thank you to mr Gift for management and Daoud for adapting coffee strength by demand. It felt like home. Very nice.

A few minor maintenance issues - bathroom door did not close properly, balcony had some worn floorboards, ants were a problem a few times, but no major issues.

Service was excellent from every member of the team. We were made to feel very special and staff was responsive to all requests. Accommodation and breakfast were excellent.

With the windows open it can be a bit loud at night, because of the street next to the Hotel.

The staff is very willing to fullfill all of your needs. They‘re very friendly and you allways get a big smile from them. The breakfast was very good, with fresh fruits and lots of warm meals that comes fresh from the Kitchen.

Beautiful boutique hotel in great location. Super friendly staff, great breakfast, great family room - two separate rooms with very big bathroom( no. 25 ) with direct exit to the garden, there are 2 pools. Beautiful modern paintings, nice furniture. Highly recommended.

The layout is a bit awkward.The main bed is in the situated at the front of the suite. The second bedroom which has 2 single beds leads to the bathroom. There is no place to do your hair. I plugged in my hair dryer at the coffee station to use the mirror but there’s a shelf running across so one has to bend.

The breakfast was average.

The person responsible for my check in didn't do a tour like telling us where is the breakfast place, number to call if you need assistance. I have stayed at the Clarendon bantry bay. Fresnaye was different. I guess it was a last minute booking. I will definitely book them again in advanced
