I think there could be some walking paths in the adjoining mountain.

The location is good but unfortunately for us we could not make the most of it as it rained most of the time.

We took our own food, we had a warm welcome and met several friendly dogs, we had a lovely walk, the location is sublime, basic but functional. Would love to stay again.

THINGS THE OWNER CAN SADLY DO NOTHING ABOUT : - the dirt road to the place was just unexpectedly further than we thought - and not in a good state! ...we drive a small car which did not do well on such roads!! - the farm is very secluded - so no wi-fi - sadly, the much-needed cool weather (after soaring 40deg temp's the previous day!!) and rain set in the day we arrived - so we could not really appreciate all the farm had to offer

the surroundings and cottage and set-up are delightful - owner really super (a real 'gentleman' farmer!!),

They could add handles in the bathroom for older people to get in and out of the bath/shower. The walking trails wasn't clearly marked which would help too.

We chose this place as it promised to be quiet. We had a wonderful time. This is a real friendly guest house which has great service and a good atmosphere. The rooms are really clean well maintained and up to scratch. It was better than the pictures.

Location excellent, we travelled backroads from Laingsburg. We loved our welcoming party named Curly. The Aloe cottage was exactly what we wanted, private and surrounded by bush. Bundles of wood were ready for the braai and fantastic jams (to purchase) displayed in the kitchen. We can recommend the quince jam and 3 fruits marmalade. The Tuffin family is doing a great job!

Wonderful farm atmosphere, quiet in beautiful countryside, with warm cosy cottage, with everything we needed, and more, with no cellphone, WiFi or TV in the cottage (But with good WiFi available in the Reception Office), The Ruffin family (including the dogs Curly and Joc) are friendly an willing to provide all the information and assistance needed. Can be really appreciated from very young to very old!!

No reception, no wifi (i had alot of work to catch up on, and have a daughter that needs white noise to sleep) our fan was making noises, we were mostly without electricity, despite that there was no loadshedding... Our fridge stank like rotting flesh, so much so that we ended up throwing away many food items, even though we only uncovered later that it was the fridge itself. It was so bad that we avouded using the fridge, just to not have to have the smell permeating through the house.

We loved the friendliness of the staff, the amazing doggies and the beautiful scenery
