South AfricaIt would be hard to find something. I would have to nitpick. Maybe dinner could be served earlier to accommodate small children, but it wasn't ever too late to meet bedtimes ;) custodial staff are still getting the hang of things, but again, this is nitpicking, this place is luxurious and welcoming.
This was the most welcomed I have ever felt at a local establishment with the most attuned and friendly staff imaginable. The premises are gorgeous. The food is near perfect. The rooms are spacious and extremely well decorated. They accommodated and made my family feel safe and comfortable and that is foremost what is most important to me. The staff sincerely friendly. Locals and international guests would feel extremely welcome. The location is great for visiting many nearby attractions. It is quiet and serene. Happy guest here.

United KingdomTsala has no on site swimming pool which means a ten minute walk to Hunters country house pool and if you wanted any food or drinks around the pool you had to use a phone to order then wait about 30 minutes
Hunters country house is not reopening until August, so we were moved to their sister property Tsala treetops which is in a beautiful setting amongst the trees. The food at both Tsala and Zinzi was very good.

United StatesRoom was a bit musty. Bathroom was spacious in our cottage, but shower cramped. You could hear the highway from out cottage. Load shedding results in a huge loud generator roaring to life, which detracts from the peacefulness of the grounds. We secured a last minute discounted rate and still felt the value wasn't quite there. At full price, I would be a bit disappointed.
Grounds are beautiful. Breakfast was delicious. Walking the property and trying the restaurants was great.

South AfricaThe room smelled musty. The air conditioner couldn't be switched off. The key got stuck in the door and we couldn't open it. We went for a dinner with wine pairing and two of the 4 courses were sub-standard, the dessert wasn't great either. Disappointing.
The room was spacious. The gardens are beautiful. The staff are friendly and well trained. The canapes were excellent and the first course at dinner was exceptionally good. The breakfast was also very nice.

United KingdomI wondered why I was disappointed when shown our room. On return home I reviewed booking.com website and found that the main photo of a twin/double room is wrong and very misleading. Of course the text is acccurate as regards the room size but I booked the room on the basis of the main photo (my mistake) and did not look at the 2nd photo or ask myself whether that really was 269 sq ft. If I had known I would have opted for the double room.

United KingdomThe room was smallish . No place to put luggage. TV didn't work. Called the TV guy but he couldn't fix it either. The heating wouldn't come on. I think it eventually produced some heat after two days!! It is an odd place with a towel used as a mat on either side of your bed. How odd! The owners have tried to put a mix of restaurants on the property but it all doesn't quite work. The main house is very old fashioned and combined with a rather large conservatory and odd little chapel in the forest it just doesn't work as a whole. The villas too close together, poor lighting on the pathway to the villa at night and after putting a " Do not disturb" sign on the door , the maid came in and disturbed everything anyway so what was the point?
Nice pool and lush landscaping.
