Comfortable room & enjoyed the afternoon use of the rooftop pool & bar with those incredible views of Table mt. Great staff, very helpful & friendly. Delicious breakfast and easy walking distance to V&A waterfront. Booked this as our first few nights on a trip to explore the cape and felt well rested from the jet lag after our stay here.

Room we had was super tiny! It was our fault for choosing it but be aware that the smallest room, it’s a super comfy cosy room but very small if you have lots of bags like us!

Quirky and great hotel in a fab location. Breakfast and service were amazing.

The location was fantastic. An easy walk to the water front and plenty of restaurant choices close by. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. We loved the roof top bar with a great view of Table Mountain. Excellent bar food. We would definitely stay here again. The bed was super comfy, and the room was mostly quiet.

We really missed an early morning coffee with a rusk in the room as we just slept there and had to leave very early due to an early appointment. Please!

We did not have breakfast because we had to leave early (06:30) again, but would love to enjoy a nice breakfast.

A good place for a one night stay in De Waterkant

Our room was a little noisy as it was right next to the stairs to the bar. Also, the windows in our room were screwed shut. This meant it was impossible to ventilate and get some fresh air.

The location is perfect - right in the heart of De Waterkant. The breakfast was superb - there was a full menu with some truly delicious options. The room was nicely decorated and the bathroom included some really nice smelling shampoo and shower gel. The bed was comfy and overall it was a great stay.

Most of it was really very good.

The staff is incredibly nice, flexible and very very helpful. We checked in nay to midnight and the night staff arranged for us to have some bottles of wine after a long flight. The staff had helped us make reservations at restaurants we couldn’t reach and even helped change the reservation later on.

The first night I was given a master key because they gave my room key to someone else by accident so I got woken up at 0700 the following morning after arriving late because of my flight (2am arrival) asking for the key back.

Great hotel! Friendly staff, and great view of one of the sights. Fresh water each day, just overall great service!

There was no coffee or kettle in the the room and no trimmings like a gown, but there was a well-stocked mini bar. There was no phone in the room either. We live near to the hotel and we basically needed a place to stay overnight as our grown up kids were having a massive party at our house. In that regard we had a fantastic overnight stay.

This is a 'boutique hotel' in the middle of things off Somerset Road. It has a Moroccan flavour with tight staircases and flamboyant Morooccan tiles, everywhere. Like most of the buildings in the area you feel slightly hemmed in, but the hotel is finished to a high standard, was very clean and the bed was huge. Shower was amazing. What was really fantastic was the pool bar on top of the roof. Where you could swim and have tasty snacks and order cocktails. Later we went down to the piano bar which was cosy and fun. Although the pianist was a bit too hectic for our liking.
