the most special setting, surrounded by majestic mountains, beautiful trees, incredible buildings. rooms are exquisite, beautifully designed, luxurious. Staff are so friendly and helpful and make sure you are looked after. Food is delicious! Such an incredible place. Spa was amazing, calm and perfect.

For breakfast, have hard-boiled eggs already made (instead of having to wait for it).

Beautiful location, friendly staff, charming town. Breakfast was superb especially the smoked salmon and oysters on a half-shell. The pinotage provided with our room was top-notch.

The Wifi needs to fixed. It doesn't always work as you would expect and is super slow most of the time.

The breakfast options are vast and to a select pallet but they at least were very flexible being able to change items on the set menu

Very little to fault at the property, we wish we’d booked an extra night as one was definitely not enough.

One of the most relaxing places we have stayed. The property itself is incredible, well decorated and the staff are polite and friendly. After freshening up we went for lunch in the Deli, followed by a cellar tour and wine tasting. We stopped at the spa before freshening up for a delicious meal and drinks afterwards in the Craven Lounge.

Wonderful place to stay, brilliant staff. Facilities in the room were great and on site such as the pool and spa. Breakfast excellent. Wine tasting was included with our stay which was lovely. Easy to Uber to other restaurants and vineyards etc if not eating dinner at the hotel. Couldn’t fault our stay would definitely return. Thank you

Quality of food (both breakfast and diner) didn’t really impress me. It all looked beautiful, but missed flavor. Food was good but not good enough for an upscale property like that. So it didn’t meet my expectations based on the quality of the rest of the property.

Only area that would greatly benefit from some improvement is evening dinner and associated service. Inconsistent.

Amazing historic, comfortable property - beautifully manicured. Lots of delightful service touches and areas to walk and explore. Breakfast quality, choice and service is outstanding. Only item less than 10/superb was evening dinner and associated service.

The entrance hall is too dark with very old and dark furniture. Lighting could be brighter.

My pillow was a bit hard and high. There wasn’t a softer one in the room. I was a bit late to find out. So didn’t call for a soft pillow.
