Lights in balcony were not working & we struggled with seating outside. Chairs could also be more comfortable. The water must run for very long before it gets hot.

There was another group of ladies that also stayed there and they had absolutely no regard for other people. The made so much noise in the 2 days that we styaed there that made it some what unpleasant. Perhaps when the people book in there should be a sign saying that there are other people staying there and that they should consider the other guests aswell. So we didn't get much sleep because of this.

The place was amazing and we enjoyed our stay very much.

I selected "pay at premises" option when making the booking, which was confirmed in the email by booking.com - stating categorically that NO upfront payment is required. However, Links guesthouse just went ahead a snatched the amount from my credit card 4 days prior to arrival without any prior warning. One member in our group was supposed to pay all of our stay - now I have to do a long claim process, which was not supposed to be the case. If the guesthouse wants to secure their cashflow upfront, that is fine - BUT then that should be clearly communicated while making the booking. I believe Links guesthouse is deliberately selling "lenient" terms to get customers - but have no intention of honoring those terms. Also, I requested the paying organization to be copied in the email for the tax invoice - obviously this wasn't done. Also, it isn't ideal that the breakfast didn't take place at the premises or even in the estate - we had to drive to a restaurant few km away.

WE ARRIVE THERE 19H30. IT WAS DARK NO LIGHTS OUTSIDE AND ONLY ONE LIGHT INSIDE. I HAVE TO CALL FOR ASSISTANCE BY SAYING HALLLOOOOO I LADY APPROACH US VERY FRIENDLY. SHE SHOW OUR ROOM BUT AS FAR AS SHE WALK SHE HAS TO SWITCH LIGHTS ON, SHE WAS TWO SLOWLY FOR US, WITHOUT ANY WARNING IN THE DARK OF A STEP I FELL DOWN WITH MY LUGGAGE IN MY HAND AND I INJURED MY KNEE AND MY SHOULDER. THE BREAKFAST WAS NOT WHAT WE EXPECT. ONLY ONE SLICE OF TOAST PER PERSON.

the b'fast was fine. Good enough, can't complain. I can't complain about the location - my assistant chose it because it worked for our investigation as a base. Interested in the whole 'live in a gated golf club' lifestyle - I suppose recreates the safe village of long ago! I'm not a big fan of brutalist architecture, but the room was fine, and I liked the chance to lie in a hot bath!

Air conditioner isn’t that effective for the room size. No filter coffee or plunger for fresh ground coffee, really miss that. A bit more variety for breakfast would be nice or change it up every second day and please wipe the condiments bottles and caps.

Large spacious rooms makes is comfortable for longer stays. Mini fridge in every to keep drinks and snacks fresh. Friendly staff and nice and clean communal areas and rooms. Enough hot water to shower and bath comfortably.

The hot water in room 9 for the bath and shower takes to long to come through, of which a lot of water going to wast before hot water comes through and you can shower. Some areas needs cleaning and dusting inside, also the pool needs attention and cleaning. Garage parking or under roof parking would have been nice.

Nice big house with huge rooms and open areas....very impressive. Top view was spectacular overlooking the golf course. We were all alone in there for our stay. The ladies who served breakfast were so friendly with the table nicely set. The food was great 👍
