We love the place but unfortunately we won't return as the bed was way too uncomfortable. We barely slept and I also woke up with a stiff neck. The tea light candles around the loft could have also been replaced, all were burnt out.

We loved the view and the braai area. The loft idea with the bed up a ladder was really cool. For the price, it was a steal, everything was clean and neat. We enjoyed the cosy feel of the place

The steps to upstairs are abit awkward but they don't affect your overall experience with the place

I wish they'd cleaned the pool before i went there, but it wasn't a big deal. Still loved the place immensely.

The towels had a few stains. And the dishes given to use could have been cleaned, there were a few stains and I suggest cleaning the fridge before new guests arrive. Perhaps something for the ants... They were almost everywhere.

I loved the scenery. It was absolutely peaceful. There were others booked in the manor, they were really friendly and we enjoyed a nice evening. The style of the loft was unique, my partner had to show off his jungle gym skills! It was raining for a bit so we didn't get the chance to enjoy the pool.

Not being from SA I didn't have a SIM for calls so was reliant on messages, and they aren't guaranteed to be seen straight away Although we were provided with an address, the house name was something different on the post outside so we weren't totally sure at first whether we were in the right place The blankets were extremely welcome as it was horrible weather but we did wonder why there was no heating (load shedding notwithstanding) Again as it was terrible weather we did miss having a radio or TV, but thankfully had something downloaded on a tablet... In decent weather I'm sure this would be irrelevant. There didn't seem to be anyone around for check out so was completely unsure what to do with the key, which you need to exit the gate with but also obviously return. I don't think this is usual though.

The braai did not seem to have the correct grill plates - I could have been mistaken. The bathroom could use a bit of a makeover - or more pictures uploaded to the listing - so that I could have arrived with the knowledge of the finishings - both these factors were easily overlooked with the rest of the offering.

The tranquility and the view. The outside area was lovely. The accommodating of my requests for both an earlier check in and a later check out were both greatly appreciated - a great plus for me. Thanks again.

No rail to hold onto while on the steps. We could have done with a scourer for washing up plates etc. Kitchen wipes to clean up surfaces would be great too
