The location was beautiful being in vineyards. Close to one of South Africa’s most famous vineyard. The animals and people were so welcoming when we arrived and we felt like we were at home. We didn’t want to leave. The dogs made friends with us and it was just a beautiful stay. We have booked to come back in a months time. Being able to braii and use the amenities was just beautiful added touch.

We liked every single thing

The Log Cabin Lodge is an amazing little gem in Stellenbosch! Everything was absolutely perfect - location is great, views are breath-taking, property is super nicely done, rooms are spacious and have absolutely everything you might need and more! Breakfast was awesome as well! Staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the co-owner Helene answered all my questions before we came. There is nothing I can fault and I am looking forward to returning and staying longer next time!

Wow!!! A breathe of fresh air!!!! I absolutely fell in love with this place. The cabin or gorgeous, the staff are so accomodating and the views were breathtaking. Definitely coming back!

The location was so tranquil and the view was amazing. The staff were incredible kind and helpful with a delicious breakfast. The lodge style with a communal seating area was lovely and great to meet other people but could also relax in private if you wished. The Louis Vale vineyard 5 minute walk away was great and would recommend visiting

Perhaps more done in options due to the distance to restaurants. Otherwise loved it.

Loved the accommodation, the location, the big shared balcony and the ‘lodge-style’ central room with fireplaces etc. Having the cats and dogs around was so relaxing and being able to watch the crazy guinea fowl running around was hilarious. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were wonderful. Great value and would love to return. The quality of the wine tasting was amazing and Muhammad and Simon were an absolutely pleasure.

What a nice place. We had such a great stay at the Log Cabin. Comfy room and beds, beautiful views and Kobus and Helene are great hosts. We had a nice braai on our first evening there. Met a couple of nice people there that We saw again later in our trip. Would highly recommend this place!

It was our second time here, we came back all the way from Holland. Absolutely loved it again! its a very serene place between the wineries. surrounded by beautiful nature. There are a few wineries on walking distance. Staff is very friendly !

Nothing, not even a tiny thing!

Everything was amazing! This lodge is really one of the best places we've stayed! Location is great, you are surrounded by pure nature, at night you enjoy all the wonderful sounds, stars and fresh air. You will sleep like a baby! If you want to go to the restaurant - here you are, 10 minutes walking there is a cozy place with local sparking wine. The view is breathtaking. Wine yards, mountains... So peaceful and stunning! We stayed in Barrel room. It was really unique. Every room has a theme (we saw couple of them, which were free) and it's quite interesting. Also the wooden furniture is awesome! Really, we even asked where to buy those tables or vases. Living room of this hotel with fireplace is so cozy, full of smell of wood and equiped with everything you need for good rest in a countryside. Even a guitar) Staff. Here I must mention Frank, the great guy who welcomed us there and did everything he could to make our staying comfortable. He was so friendly, nice and polite, always ready to assist us in any possible way! Thank you so much! There is also a small golf field and pool (or hot tub, not sure) in this lodge. My husband was excited about two guys, Roxy and Simba, running around. Goooood doggos! I'm afraid of dogs, but these ones befriended me so fast)
