This is a wonderful place! Set in a beautiful location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant and it was delicious, breakfast in the morning was great too

The downside was that the power went out (because of a tree fall) and we had to be moved to a normal room at night which we didn’t love .. The staff did everything to fix the situation and made us feel comfortable which we really appreciated !

We booked the luxury villa and it was incredible!!!! the view and the room was spectacular. Super friendly staff and they have a super cute dog and two adorable cats.. The dog joined us for treks which was super cute! The food was incredible!

This cabin provides excellent detached studio accommodation with a private deck hot tub and small pool.The room had all the facilities, washing machine,dishwasher,cooking facilities and microwave and the bathroom was lovely. The property itself has beautiful views and the shared areas are very nice spaces to be in.

Although the accommodation is really nice, it is not cheap. We paid ZAR 2,425.50 for one night. I wish there were more roads between the vineyards, as there is only one road that takes you around to places

This place is really beautiful however not cheap but very nice if you can afford it. It is a beautiful vineyard, and the log cabins are beautiful and very tastefully decorated. Breakfast was really good and staff very friendly.

FANTASTIC! All over my travels, this was the best place I have ever stayed at. Apart from availability of all necessary facilities themselves, like private kitchenette with the fridge, A/C, large comfortable beds, parking, pool, hot tube, free-service bar, etc. the Log Cabin Lodge proposes an amazing environment and atmosphere. Rooms and outdoor area have a beautiful view on a calm garden and vineyards, so you can enjoy it while being in a hot tub (amazing one!) or pool, or while having a drink at the terrasse. The surroundings are calm, and you feel relaxed here. I liked a lot the living/lounge area - it was super cozy, especially during the evening when the fireplace is on. Those who constructed this area have a nice taste and thought about the comfort of guests. I also had diner there - it was delicious, and nice garden view with the sunset and then night sky make it even more plesant. It's also worth noting that the furniture, floor, walls, equipment - all is fresh and does not require renovation, unlike in many other tourist accomodations I saw in South Africa. May be it's not the very first factor tourists pay attention to, but still, it does add value to the overall stay experience. I regret that I spent few time there. If I could only change my travel plan, I would do it in a way to spend more nights here instead of staying near Cape Town. So it was a perfect experience at the Log Cabin Lodge, and I do recommend you to stay here.

The Wi-Fi signal wasn't great in the room but that detracted little from the overall stay.

The staff were amazing and really the extra mile to make our stay memorable. I don't think I have stayed somewhere that has such a beautiful backdrop behind it and there were so many options of activities to keep us occupied during the stay. Great location to nearby vineyards and easy to get in and out of Stellenbosch.

Magnificent well-maintained garden and vineyards around. Perfect quiet place after long days outside. The beds are huge with very good quality bed sheets. Very clean lodge. Excellent breakfast on the veranda. The staff are very nice and professional.

Private apartment amongst the grapevines within a vineyard. Outdoor pool and hot tub on deck overlooking vineyard and mountains. Folding sliding doors, open up to give views from the bed. Picture window in bathroom give views of the mountains and vineyard whilst showering. Fully equipped apartment, everything you need included. Staff where excellent and very helpful, evening food and breakfast was excellent.

Very tranquil setting amongst the vines and greenery with an amazing outlook from the dining area and deck. Well set up with a lovely pool to cool off and a wood burner spa to warm up. Chef JL, Noleen and all of the team were so wonderful and friendly. Highly recommended for exploring the wineries and beyond.
