Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

PortugalThe cleaning was not organised when requested, again despite requesting this three weeks in advance. The internal atrium is nice but can be noise sometimes due to noise echoing in the space. Thursday, Friday and Saturday the proximity of the restaurants is nice but can be noisy. WIFI on a few of the days was very poor and therefore could not use the TV.
The location of the apartment is excellent and is very close to shops, Restaurants, Gautrain station, uber pick up points and the apartment is very spacious for a Studio, bed is very comfy and is well equipped.

South AfricaOur toilet was broken. It was working properly, flushing and everything but the toilet was loose so it would make a very loud noise when you sit on it. The checking out process was also bad. We had to call the property to let them know that we’re checking out and they were not answering so we had to return to the room and leave the key there. Wasted our time when we made sure to check out on time.
The apartment was clean and beautiful, had everything we needed. The staff was very friendly. It was also quiet, exactly what we needed.

South AfricaWORST COMMUNICATION OF ALL TIME! From the second I made the booking, nobody knew where the money was between propr and booking.com. At some point I thought I was scammed. The Wi-Fi died and I had to make means to be the one to constantly check with our host on the progress where at some point she stopped answering my calls.
The Spot was clean. Loved the view.

ZimbabweThe parking for the apartment is on the lowest level which can leave you quite dizzy after going round and down a lot. This is due to the building being narrow and square therefore you have to turn quickly. There’s not much that can be done about this but it’s just what I didn’t like
The property is easy to access and yet secure. The apartment is nicely designed and comfortable especially for a short stay. The water pressure was brilliant and hot water was adequate

A lot of loud banging type noises in the building affecting this apartment on a regular intervals. Could be the piping or something, but seemed to do with the structure. Also, the WiFi wasn’t working for first 7 hours. Eventually a totally different WiFi network, with a password that wasn’t even available anywhere in the apartment was communicated to me via email. It was ridiculous. The main blind in the lounge was clearly broken. Not highlighted to me on check in. So, it literally had to stay down the entire time, including all day.

PortugalThe arrival experience was disappointing, general quality of the furniture should be improved poor quality, missing plates, cups etc not replaced when broken from previous occupancy, broken light bulbs not replaced, the organising of the cleaning of the apartment should be improved.
The location was very good, it is very convenient for Rosebank. The apartment is spacious enough for a couple and is well equipped for in house dining .
