Cracks all over the place, ceiling, walls & tiles. Plug sockets hanging out of the walls. Dimmer switches missing. No mirror in the main bedroom or dressing area. Hairdryer nowhere to be found until after I had bought one. Found it in the kitchen cupboard above the tumble dryer just where you would expect it to be!! Dishwasher was stinky probably from lack of use. No tea towels. Mismatched glasses. Shortage of plates. Cracked mirror in 2nd bathroom, broken toilet seat. No coffee machine, had to buy a bodum. Water pressure was really bad but that happens. Coffee table was burnt & scuffed. No toiletries apart from little soaps which to me is not "toiletries".

The apartment could do with some minor improvements. Maintenance needs to be improved as well. The little stuff makes it frustrating like aircon remotes not working..no mirrors in the bedrooms..majority of the downlighters are fused making the apartment very dark...no washing up sponge or dishcloth provided. Otherwise all good

For starters a complimentary choice of tea/coffee sachets would have been most welcome. Kitchen was very ill-equipped for a self-catering unit. Lounge set very, very uncomfortable, needs replacing. A smart TV is needed and reception in the main bedroom was very poor. Front door lock is faulty and the sliding door to the balcony did not lock.

The location is great. Would have preferred a unit on a higher floor, we were on the 1st floor, and the view was obscured.

Lovely flat, good location. Kids enjoyed the beach that is only a few minuets walk form flat and the pool. Host was very accommodating and friendly. Will definitely go back again.

The apartment needs a lot of maintenance. The carpets are dirty and there are huge cracks on almost all the walls. The main bedroom’s bed is the hardest most uncomfortable bed we’ve ever slept on. The vanity in the main bathroom is about to collapse. The curtains in the main bedroom hardly move. The second bedroom has a blind which lets in light from the outside building corridor. The kitchen is very sparsely equipped, no salad bowl, mixed and matched cutlery and glasses. Air-conditioners need to be serviced as they rattle and need duct tape to prevent them sounding like tractors. Some of the internal light switches are missing dimming knobs and a few lights don’t come on at all.

Location was excellent as you’re walking distance to the heart of Umhlanga.

The entire unit should have been fixed up before my family and I moved in. On arrival we noticed numerous cracks on the walls throughout, Some damp marks on the walls, missing light buttons on the walls. The kitchen cupboards were full of cockroaches. The aircon in the first room made a loud noise. Both aircons were stuck closed with duck tape. The locks leading out onto the balcony did not work. The main door key lock did not turn properly to open/close. This unit was disgusting !!
