The room could do with a hairdryer. The cupboards need upgrading.

The staff were exceptional. Breakfast was made to order, and of great quality. The room was cleaned every day. The beds were comfortable and linen was clean. The gardens and pool were immaculate and perfect for our children to freely and safely explore. This was a much nicer option for our children than being stuck in a hotel room. We had a lot of space and privacy, as the number of guests are limited.

The heater in the room did not provide much heat. A solar geyser is used, so the water temperature in the shower was not always hot but it was always acceptable enough to shower.

Friendly staff and the room had everything you needed including a microwave and fridge. The breakfast was great .

The Pecan Tree Guesthouse was a home away from home. Both Pamela and Maria ensured we felt comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast was exceptional every morning. We will definitely be back. Thank you again Pamela and Maria for everything. We loved our stay with you

Nothing. We love it there. So many places to stay in Joberg but this only has a few rooms so is personal and private. Would appreciate a choice of fresh fruit at breakfast rather than just apples and some pods for the nespresso machine to save having to go out and buy some. That’s all

The location, the peacefulness, Maria and Pamela running it. Nothing was too much trouble, exceptionally well kitted out luxurious clean bedrooms and bathrooms and freshly cooked breakfast to order every morning. Loved our time sunbathing and swimming in the pool. Loved the private electric gated entrance with key fob and private parking. We can’t wait to return next year (will be our third visit) thank you for a fabulous stay.

We liked it all.

Pecan Tree Guesthouse is in a very quiet, secure area. The location for us was perfect as we needed to be at St Stithians Aquatic Centre each day (for 4days). The room was exceptionally clean and very comfortable and the hosts were very friendly , supportive and helpful. This is certainly great value for your money. Breakfast was delicious especially the omelette prepared by Maria. We will certainly be back and we would not hesitate to recommend it to friends. Good provision has been made for power during the regular load shedding time slots.

I cannot think of anything negative about this guesthouse.

This guest house is an a park-like area in Sandton, Johannesburg. This is a very safe area, you can walk around safely but also get to any destination within a short while taking Ubers. The area around the guesthouse is kept meticulously clean, it is beautiful With us, lawns, bushes, trees, and flowers and an oasis in the urban jungle that Johannesburg can be. Incredibly large and tasty breakfasts! Comfortable double bed, large, comfy arm chair, freshly renovated, modern bathroom, desk, television, refrigerator, microwave, and everything you need for coffee and tea. There is an outside sitting area that was pleasant in the evening For a glass of wine and a chat with the neighbors. There is a pool and I used it twice and it was refreshing. Pamela at the reception is an agel and patiently answered all of my 100 questions gracefully.  I will come back to this guest house anytime I am in Johannesburg (possibly next year looking again for a motorcycle)!

well, the complimentary towels were removed from my room within 3 days (my stay was for 5 days). i later found out that there was a mix up when our host changed duties/shifts with the new host. but this was really a small inconvenience in the grand scheme of the overall stay.

Everything was on point 100%. The highlight was the breakfast omelet. It was Masterchef level ‼️ The staff are amazingly friendly. I highly recommend this place. It will be my stop over location when I visit family in SA again.

We received a very warm welcome from Pamela. Who then showed us to our suite. Which was immaculately clean. I must say it's better than the pictures show. I loved that they had contingencies for power outages and the location is perfect, easily accessible if you're without a vehicle and dependant on Ubers and such. They had a Beautiful and quiet garden with a pool. My family and I had a great stay, so much so that I wish they had franchises all over SA. I Even looked. It was an experience for my young sister whos first time it was leaving the province. The breakfast was also an added delight with various options made to order each morning.. Pamela was a Lovely Host and the Property is most definitely value for money. It felt like we were at a retreat.
