that there was not enought cuttlery for all the people staying there.The one gasstove plate is also not enought for all the people the kettle take ages to cook and then the others must wait.The fact that there was no fresh water to brush your teeth or to use for coffee and no one mentioned this to use when we arrived

The shower pressure was terrible and the paddle boats needs some love. The rest was amazing. It is a backpackers, not a hotel.

Faster food service, waiters that check in on you, waiters that actually welcome new guests and seat them... I had to go upto a waiter to get seated and get menus

The bathroom facilities were not good , not enough privacy . The pizza we had at the restaurant was tasteless, so we did not try anything else .

Didn't like the fact that youngest rocked up on Monday night to get trashed and be falling over the place and breaking bottles. Understandable that it's party time from them, but respect for others that are guests is needed to be taught.

We loved the holiday vibe and the comfortable beds. Nice to have a communal area to chill, braai or play games. Very friendly bar staff. We'd love to come back for longer.

Terrible bungalow. Too small, bad decor, dirty floor, no electricity inside. Men's toilets didn't look nice.

Loved nature and canoeing. Loved the restaurant with the natural environment with the trees and sand. Great service.

Not sure if the ceiling of our hut was made from asbestos, but it looked like it. And some rowdy neighbors playing loud music until 2am.

The location was very pretty. Would make a great summer vacation spot. The kitchen was well equipped with pots and pans.

Some of the staff were a little slow. The food variety wasn't huge for staying there for three days. More bins were needed and a vibe at the bar. I requested some music several times as did other guests but we were ignored. There is also no longer a pool table as shown in the pictures.

The scenery is amazing and the vibe very laid back. Wonderful nature and made me feel like I was somewhere tropical. The kitchen facilities were great.

There wasn't hot water and with loadshedding there was no water.

I like the location and the river. The staff were great! They even made us dinner when we arrived late.

Humid and basic, noisy if anyone around just even speak (don't want to imagine if partying). Kitchen not usable, basic for a night or two, not more. You can't bring your own drinks and of you think bringing food have your own fridge as the ones from the common kitchen do not work.

Visitors in the backpackers unit behind us noisy until 5 in the morning. We could not sleep. The showers hot water only hot for a few seconds.
