Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

High-end finishes. Beautifully designed interior. Spacious bedrooms with excellent facilities. We requested in advance for an early check-in and they were able to accommodate this. Staff were friendly and organised. The location is a short ride away from the waterfront and right in the business district. Good for business. Good for leisure. The bedroom TV also actually worked and we had access to netflix. Big bonus!

South AfricaThe music selection does not cater for everyone, restaurant service is a bit slow and the staff on the Phone is not very helpful or accommodating to special request they just say no and does not try make an effort to help.
The decor and rooms was stunning and the staff was very helpful in person. The Sky bar and pool area was stunning and the view is next level. Absolutely fantastic Breakfast!!!

South AfricaHelp me understand..again. I extended my stay with 2 nights. Today I checked out and asked for an invoice, I was asked to contact Booking.com for an invoice. This is the second time I get this type of response from Elton - I mean the last time same thing and today again. He says he can see my booking on the system but can't give me an invoice cos he doesn't know how much I paid. I mean do I have to beg for my invoice every time I check out? Can someone please help me out here?

Cyprus1-Bar upstairs is a bit cold ,no atmosphere, the pool area needs more as a pool area not like a bar when you swim people watch seating at the tables ,need more as a pool chair not bar tables ,and the service from.the restaurant need to care more about lobby ,we stayed 5 nights and we always drink there but we never get any service to sell us more drinks .

I believe his name is Shon (please forgive me if not ) fabulous person he was helping everyone with a big smile on his face every day thank you you make our stay 😊, the breakfast was fantastic, ,in general we will stay in the hotel again fabulous thank you

Good location - easy to call and Uber/Bolt to, or very easy to walk to the nearest bus station which will safely transport you around the city. My general impression is great.
