Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

ChinaThe place was just as described and the attention to detail was phenomenal. Adel was so nice and friendly that she made us feel right at home. The location is very central and just opposite Bossa restaurant and Kwik Spar. This is a gem of location. I would definitely stay there again. Adel is really the best.

South AfricaThe host was very welcoming from the start and gave us great recommendations about places the visit and eat in the Paarl. The restaurants and shops are walking distance from the air bnb, making it very convenient All of the amenities worked, and the air-conditioning was a major plus point as it was really hot. Amazing shower, making it feel as if you are staying in a hotel. It is very clean and comfortable and definitely worth the stay. Anything you could need is provided. Definitely would recommend this air bnb to anyone wanting to visit the Paarl.

South AfricaThe apartment is centrally located, so the front room was on the main street. This street room was very noisy till late, so we could not open the windows.. However, here was an aircon in the living room that spilled some cool air into the bedroom. The beds and pillows were a bit firm for our personal liking , but the bedding was superb.
The apartment was newly refurbished and very tastfully decorated. The space was clean and inviting. There was attention to detail and extra complimentary goodies not normally found in an overnight stay apartment. We especially liked the scented candles placed for our use and the extra kettle and light in case of loadshedding.
