What’s not to like ? Where do I even start, this was to date the best getaway I’ve had and it’s thanks to this stunning unit. The hosts are so friendly and always willing to assist whenever. The unit is more beautiful in person.

We enjoy all wildlife but keep an eye out for Cape Crawlers (tiny scorpions). They are not dangerous and are very docile but be aware of your surroundings.

Beautiful garden, beautiful view and well equipped. Lovely towels and bedding. Comfortable bed. Particularly enjoyed the birdlife and the quiet farming atmosphere. Very safe and secure.

Nothing at all! We stayed here for 5 nights and were sad to leave.

Beautiful studio, stunning surroundings, lovely host Barbara, well equipped kitchen and very nice bed.. Everything you need is there, including a woodburner 😊. There are numerous birds around the house, you can just sit and watch. It's a fantastic spot, ideal to relax and enjoy nature. It's easy to explore the area (garden route national park, knysna, etc.).

The location was lovely and it was a beautiful drive up to the studio. The studio was clean and beautifully decorated. Barbra the host, had left us baked goods with a note to wish us for our wedding anniversary which was so thoughtful.

If you are looking for a quiet remote place - that's it. Surrounded by nature, lots of birds and from time to time 3 gorgeous doggies are coming to check on you! Heaven... Best "time off" during my stay in SA this year... Sooo relaxing 😇

Barbara is a lovely lady and good host. The cottage is well equipped with an awesome view towards the Outeniqua mountains. The location is perfect for exploring the surrounds. The bird life is amazing. A great time was had by us and our Beagles.

This place was a perfect hideaway for us, it was beautifully decorated, had every amenity that we could possibly have needed. you’ll need to acquaint yourself with the off-grid power which does mean a generator in the mornings but otherwise we absolutely loved it. Barbara was the most wonderful host and ensured that we wanted for nothing. You’re close enough to town to be able to explore Sedgefield or Knysna but you’re secluded enough to really get the relaxation you’re craving. We’d love to go back.

I honestly can't think of anything that could be improved. Everything was perfect for our Easter Breakaway.

The whole experience was amazing. The location was hidden away with the most beautiful views. The accommodation was beautifully put together with the smallest detail carefully thought out to ensure a comfortable stay. I would highly recommend this accommodation to my friends and family.

I loved all the wild birds coming to eat. The bed was SUPER comfy and the view was absolutely stunning of the mountains. Peace and quiet. Tick.

Fantastic location with exceptional views. A place where you can truly get away from it all. The studio has every necessity and then some - just pack yourselves, your luggage and your food. Barbara was an incredibly attentive host and the personal touches were so special. A good distance into the countryside so you feel like you're "getting away from it all" and yet are easily able to access Sedgefield and surrounds with a quick drive. The birdlife was amazing and the local pups, Molly and Quinn, had us feeling at home away from home.

The cottage was lovely and brilliantly equipped with everything you could need. Loved the eco-friendly vibe. The location is super pretty and homey, and our dogs had such an awesome time romping around. Great spot for birding. The bed is really comfy. Really awesome all round! Thanks guys!
