My stay was excellent. The location of the apartment is perfect. Ideal for anyone who is traveling alone.

The host was not available at the time of check in. I called 4 times and the 5th time he answered. I had 2 exhausted kids and after a long journey they needed to get to their unit and rest. Host did not allow us to check out late. He waited in the apartment while we packed which was extremely uncomfortable as we were 2 females and 2 small kids and then asked how much I would pay him for a late check out. Extremely disappointing considering the uneasiness while he stood there in the unit while we packed.

The apartment was exceptional. Very Comfortable and very close to rosebank mall, walking distance Kitchen had all of the amenities Rooms were clean and beds super comfortable.

1. main bathroom - no tap, no plug to fill bath and wall attachment for shower is fixed and directs water outside bathtub causing flooding 2. would be helpful to have contact details of person managing apartment - no 2nd key was provided as requested and wrong contact details were provided. took a long time to get feedback on checkout time. never worked out how tv in bedroom worked 3. 2nd room did not have clean bed linen 4. at night there are tons of fish-moths/ small insects that come out of skirting board

An additional electric blanket in the 2nd bedroom would be great. Johannesburg does get quite cold in winter. The apartment was otherwise very well furnished.

Central location right outside of the mall. Excellent host who was always ready to assist with any queries and also checked up to ensure that we were happy and comfortable. Will definitely return to this apartment when we return to Johannesburg.

Perhaps advise reception which parking bay is allocated to the apartment and where it can be found as security was not aware and reception could only tell us it was downstairs

Delays in the international leg of our journey and choas at OR Tambo arrivals resulted in the family being tired and cranky. However, when we arrived, we were received warmly. The apartment is beautiful and cozy with all the comforts of home. The apartment comes well stocked with the basics, from tea and coffee to detergents to linen. Just a few steps from Rosebank mall, it's easy to purchase anything that isn't already provided. The apartment is also loadshedding free which is great especially in Winter.

There are lamps besides the bed, there was no toilet paper, there was no safe or laptop safe. There was an empty bottle of air freshener. There were no extensions for the 2 pin tv plugs. There was no fan at least a heater fan which did nothing for some form of air. I expected at least simple things like salt and pepper shaker. There was just a lot not okay with this apartment. I have stayed at many paying the same price and this one was least favorable. Checking in was simple and check out was simple with the lock box by the apartment door. I hope they can improve. I did find the deep freezer was so defrosted and frozen again without being cleaned and it seems to keep defrosting as lots of water dripping at the back of the fridge. There was not even a little washing machine soap and staysoft. I hope they can improve on these things.

The unit does not have air conditioning, we had to resort to buying g a fan (very hot in Gauteng this time of year). The beds are small (only a standard double) so for the larger of us a little uncomfortable. There is a problem with the lights and I was surprised that some lights in the lounge had no off switch even though the unit is on a prepaid electricity meter (which needed topping up while we were there), seemed a little counter intuitive. Also struggled to get an additional night booked, the property manager was very hard to contact.

Very central and close to a great load of shops, bars and restaurants. The unit was well appointed and the kitchen is well stocked from a crockery, cutlery and appliance standpoint.

No keys for main room door, blankets and towels were not clean, they were smelling. Felts like the property east ready for clients since towels and pillow covers were put to dry up in the balcony. Felt like I was borrowing the house for free for a night.

We battled to get hold of the host for a few hours. We were stranded sitting in the car waiting for him to contact us to hand over the keys. The apartment had no clean towels available. There is no coffee tea sugar etc in the kitchen. There was a dishwasher but only 1 dishwasher tablet. The bedding was really old so not too sure if it was clean. There was laundry hanging all over on the balcony so we were unable to make use of the balcony. We also ran out of electricity on the prepaid meter. The host did come and put more units in once we got hold of him. Would not stay here again in a hurry. They seemed unprepared to host guests.

The apartment is very safe and close to the mall.

There were only 3 towels for 4 people, no bath mats, hand towels and hair dryer. The owner did not even bother replying and help in anyway. 1 tv was not working. No shampoo ,conditioner, bottle of water ,wine like mentioned in the facilities. No feather pillows. The blanket on the sofa had not been washed for a while... there was an old lollipop stick on the floor in the kitchen. I don't recommend.
