Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

South AfricaThe main thing I did not like was the fact that they did not have a full body mirror.. But they had just recently renovated and they will hopefully have larger mirrors in all rooms. I don't think it was all the rooms that had no big mirror. The bathrooms also didn't have mirrors.
The rooms are clean and recently renovated. The location was ideal for me as I was attending an event at the Golden Horse Race Track across the road. Each room has an aircon and the TV I had was a smart TV which meant I could sign in on showmax/Netflix while I was there. And of course they had WiFi.

South AfricaWhat you advertised on your site was not the R450 rooms at all. Disgusted with those rooms. The R750 rooms were 100 % better. The fridge door does not close. The shower door does not close. There was a bakkie that was constantly coming in and out, making a hell of a noise. Very noisy. WiFi was not working. No teaspoons in the room for your coffee.. only one plate and set of cutlery. Plate was chipped.
Room 5 was neat and clean. Towels fresh. Had DSTV . Bathroom was clean.

South AfricaThere was noise in this place from 6pm- 6am, guess that's what you get for booking the cheapest room to use for 1 night though 🙄😑 the bed was so uncomfortable, makes a loud squeeky sound at every move you make 😭 was up the whole night, and yeah the other guests are very inconsiderate, I mean Who wakes up and cooks at 2am while chit chatting and having a good loud laugh for the whole neighborhood to hear🤷🏽♀️
