I missed my bus, so I had to come back. The host didn’t hesitate to let me in and prepare a room even though the house was fully booked. If you want to enjoy beautiful mountains , real country lifestyle in Zululand, scenic views, then this is the perfect accommodation for you. Beautiful rural area if you want to experience real Zulu setting. It’s not a 5 star resort and it’s not perfect but the hosts are giving their best and they will try to make you feel as much comfortable as possible. They also reacted positively to some of my advice and made improvements.

I liked everything.

The room was very clean and the bed was really comfortable. The house is a bit far from town but it’s perfect if you want to enjoy the nature. The host was really kind and gave me everything I needed. They also gave me a few lifts to town. Very good value for money, will definitely visit again.

It the fact that they call us in the morning ask are we leaving earlier than 10am they need to go to church, I mean who does that, the place was dirty we book 4 days prior so but it was like they didn’t knew 😡😡

1. The shower didn't work, there was NO water and NO electricity for over 5 hours in a day, there was no water in the bathrooms during loadsheding, we had to use buckets and cold water to clean ourselves. 2. There is/was lack of cleanliness and it is not well maintained. Areas like under the bed, in the bathroom and in the kitchen have a really bad accumulation of DUST. The outside area of the place is very untidy. The bed sheets/bedding(WHITE) were so dirty we had to sleep on top of a fleece-like blanket. This indicates they are not being washed after every stay. 3. The guesthouse misrepresented it's facilities by using deceitful images to advertise. 4. The place is not lockable hence no security, and some windows are unable to close. 5. Lighting in the bathroom has no switch, its allways on. The lighting outside is very poor, had to rely on neighbors for lighting. BOOK AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Windows were not closing properly. Bathroom was flooding. Place is not spotlessly clean and suitable for guests. There was no running water in the morning however, they boiled water for us to bath. On booking, it seems like the place offers an "Irish breakfast" and only after booking, you see that breakfast is excluded from the price. This place should be fixed before taking any guests.

Nothing except that we had a roof over my head and the host tried to make up for the hiccups despite everything falling apart.

The property seems to be underdeveloped, there is still a lot of things that need to be worked on. We use solar geyser and the water was very cold, especially now rust it is winter. We had to use a kettle to boil water so we can bath. The tv is not working, the is no Wi-Fi.

I liked the fact the bedding was clean and bed was nicely made.

The rooms was okay but the locks were not working, we couldn't even sleep. Everyone was scared that we were not safe.

The area. The area is very very rural and there were cows everywhere and you can smell the cows. You can never travel there of it is raining the road is gravel and unpleasant. Couldnt even sleep there because of the conditions. Very disappointed it what i saw when i got there, honestly would not reccomend it to anyone.The pictures that you see on the internet are just for propaganda, do not expect anything interesting. Had to to go look to stay at another place. And the place is wayy to far from the Shrine.

There’s shared bathroom and the bathroom door is locked with wires and a chain for privacy. The actual place is completely different to the pictures and facilities promised on booking.com It seems the property is incomplete and is need of major renovations and should not be posted on your app nor opened for business until it meets the most basic requirements. For example our host suggested that we use some plastic basin to wash as she couldn’t guarantee that the shower would work in the morning
