The location was amazing - the Pass drive was great with beautiful views and as you came over the top one was welcomed with open farmlands filled with flowers and our accommodation on a working farm . Farmhouse a wonderful journey of antiques and eclectic artwork . We had organised dinner and breakfast which was served in a homely dining room with other guests . Getting together sharing stories over a drink was really enjoyable. Meals were tasty and well presented. Thys's intereaction with guests was great fun , sharing stories and his "Skop van die Blikvosperd" Staff were friendly and proactive.

Excellent location for a flower tour. Our cottage had a panoramic view over fields of yellow and blue flowers. It was well appointed and had an inside braai, very welcome with the bad weather that we experienced. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They prepare good meals at very affordable prices. Meeting the other guests around the warm fire in the lounge and sharing our experiences made the stay memorable.

A unique stay in a lodge on a working farm in Namakwaland with very friendly and most helpful staff. The food and drinks offering was priced very reasonably and was really yummy

The dirt road from Kammieskroon is rather bumpy requiring careful driving. 20 to 30 minutes drive.

We stayed in a unit with bedroom, bathroom and veranda enclosure outside the main house. Comfortable with a built-in braai in the veranda room. Facilities are spotlessly clean. Friendly staff and well managed by owners. Beautiful flowers on the farm! Restaurant in main house provides all meals including delicious traditional dishes.

I almost called Nando’s and KFC as one or two of the roosters really kept the night rather vibrant for our liking but all good. It is a working farm. Ok so we did knot the place was 13km into the mountains and had we known, we would have lost out on an experience.

Good value for money, lovely hosts and staff. Beautiful surroundings and generally a neat place in the mountains. WiFi worked in our room. Met a German tourist who is so positive about the country, made me feel shame for constantly complaining.

You must go to the dinner to get wifi reception and the doors are very low so you must duck when entering the bedroom and toilet areas. The 17k drive from Kamiskroon on gravel road got a little old also.

This guesthouse is in the country and so has a quiet and rustic vibe. The staff worked very hard to meet our needs and the fireplace at night was very nice. There are fields of wildflowers across the road if you are there during the flowering season.

It was a lovely retreat. Loved the feeling of the farm and friendly staff. We appreciated the minor details in the room (I.e. the sweeties on the towels) and the funny notices at the main house. I always appreciate a sense of humour!🤭

It is a distance from town on a dirt road, however the road is not in bad shape. The pillows was a bit flat, Im sure if we asked it would have been sorted.

Friendly and welcoming host. Really cute decor. The dinner they made us was fantastic and the owner was really flexible as we arrived late and they had prepared dinner for us.

Supper was a hearty meal provided in the farm house restaurant. Lovely. The large ensuite room was spotless with everything one needed for a relaxing night. Complimentary Tea and coffee in the room. The staff and management were so friendly and helpful.
