The place was absolutely spotless and included so many little touches that made it stand out. The facilities are amazing and the furniture and style of the chalet makes it unique. By far one of my favourite booking so far in SA.

Exceptional value for a great location to Kruger Park. Super clean, well kitted and serviced daily. Great for children and family. The owner thought of finer details coffees, milk, rusks and ice was such a warm welcome after a long trip.

I really didn't like hearing all the trucks on the roads, as they were extremely loud, I also didn't like the fact that you could hear every single twig, seed, rock or fruit drop from the trees onto the roof, I am assuming it was a sink roof but the noise levels in the place was truly unbearable, to top it off the dogs were barking throughout the night. This was a true shame as the facilities were nice.

The room was beautiful and the host was really nice, I liked the couches and the overall look and feel of the place. The shower was also quiet nice and the bath was really lovely. I liked the feel and set up of the house in general.

Not much really, natural lighting in the rooms means that you can't sleep in longer, once it's bright outside it will be bright in the room. Neighbours can be a tad noisy, however area is generally quiet after 21:30hrs.

Excellent location, about 12-15 min drive to the Kruger Malelane gate. Beautiful area, very clean and neat, comfortable bed & excellent kitchen amenities. It would be excellent if the property included a mini splash pool to cool off in. Coffee machine was a bonus along with the complimentary wine, filtered water & chocolates in the fridge!

The last time we were there there was a lot of noise... dogs barking, people talking loudly in the street, but there were contractors installing cable, so that was probably the reason. Prior to that we have had very peaceful stays at Timmerstuga. So still highly recommended.

We always feel right at home at Timmerstuga. The accommodation is very comfortable with everything you need for a home-away-from home. Ample areas to work easily with good lighting as well for work purposes.

Host communicates promptly and checks in to ensure that everything is in order. Mara is very helpful and Timmerstuga is just a lovely place to stay with thoughtful extras.
