We enjoyed everything about our stay - from the comfort and coziness that the luxury tent offers to the hot tub and the views that come with it, that makes it perfect for when you stay here in summer or winter. The privacy per unit is perfect. The service rendered by the staff was exceptional! If you are looking for a place to recharge or find peace and enjoy the beauty of nature, this is the place to book!

The shower was spraying water everywhere and rattles when you walk by. The electric stove covers were burned and needs to be replaced.

Hot water ran out a few times within seconds of being in the shower then came back again after a few minutes.

Overall everything met our expectations!

I expected a chalet and was allocated a "Glampingtent" Reason why I wanted a chalet is that my wife is terminally ill with Multiple Myeloma blood cancer. She has a low immunity level and should not be exposed to any apartment with potential unhygienic issues. If I knew in advance my booking is a semi-tent set up I certainly would not have booked at this establishment. I do not accept the establishment's owner uncompromising retort that I should have checked the photos. I certainly did so when I booked , but nowhere is it stated or proclaimed to be a tent arrangement. The staff and owner were very polite, but made it clear it is my mistake to not having recognized this from the photos. I got very cross and used language I don't often use . I did apologize to those involved.- including the owner and the gate staff member. We had a good stay , and my wife fortunately did not pick up any additional illness. Although all turned out well, it could have been very different. My view remain unchanged that I was misled at booking time - the photos were not clear that it was a tent-setup and the specific booked accommodation was not clearly stated as a tented unit. I think Booking,Com should take note that I was misled as stated above. I personally learned a hard lesson not to be so trusting . Maybe Booking.Com should also learn the same on their websites. I loved my stay at Tranquil Nest for the fact that it is in the bush, slept in a big nice tent, the pool and the Jacuzzi gave us greatest moment of all times. It is a place for one to rearrange some things of some sort and still be happy.

We had some issues with cockroaches flying in but I think they come from outside and not sure there's much to do about it, but they do provide a spray to kill insects. The jacuzzi was too hot for a summer day but the staff was helpful when we asked for the temperature to be changed.

The place is lovely, surrounded by trees and very calm. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you might need to cook a basic meal or breakfast. The AC worked well, the jacuzzi was an absolute plus and it was great to have a place to braai. The staff was very informative and attentive.

Beautiful scenery. The staff was so accommodating. Rooms were clean and the Aircon helped a lot with the heat. The jacuzzi was clean and amazing. The fire pit creates an atmosphere. We stayed in glamping tent 1 and it was so peaceful. Would recommend this to all.

Using gas for geyser, it’s difficult to operate but you get used to it.

The Chalet was so nice and the place is in the bush. There’s peace and quietness,very clean , the kitchen is big. Favourite thing about that place is the jacuzzi 😍😁
