Absolutely nothing! It was exceptional.

The location is fantastic. Right in the middle of beautiful Stellenbosch. Also appreciated the fact that the lights stayed on during load shedding - it made all the difference.

The downstairs bedrooms were a tight fit for 2 people.

Loved the location, living area was amazing. There's an inverter which means loadshedding is hardly an issue. Unit is very well-equipped. We all wandered out of our rooms in the mornings and had coffee together, and in the evenings we lit a fire and had hot chocolates before bed. The patio was so spacious and lovely under our very own oak tree - we even found time for a braai on the Saturday afternoon. After our morning runs and bike rides around Stellenbosch we met for breakfast at one of the many nearby coffee shops. Also loved hearing the church bells. We certainly made every moment count!

Noise from neighbouring business conducting renovations was very unpleasant. This was temporary and they have committed to alert the hosts next time.

This property is perfectly situated for a variety of visitors to Stellenbosch - families visiting students or attending graduations; friends enjoying a getaway; or couples having a romantic weekend. It is suited for short stays with excellent restaurants in walking distance or longer stays with great cooking facilities and indoor and outdoor relaxation areas.

the layout, the attention to detail… and Nelius’ service was EXTRAORDINARY!!! the people in stellenbsosch around Tuishuisie were also warm and welcoming and everyone knows Nelius and treats guests so well. A Big Big thank you.. we will def be back 💙🙏🏽

The open-plan kitchen/lounge area isn't huge, but it was good enough for our needs

The location in the centre of Stellenbosch is excellent and it really helps to have a dedicated off-road parking bay. The property has everything you need and there is a large terrace with braai. During load-shedding we still had some light. The owner was extremely helpful and responsive and was flexible both on arrival and departure times.

Lovely spot in a central location, with easy access to everything in Stellenbosch. The host was lovely and left a bottle of wine and chocolates in the fridge on arrival! They provide the basics if you are self-catering and the kitchen is very well equipped. There is even a washer and dryer if you felt like doing washing on your holiday. Comfy beds, heated towel rails, aircon, all make for a relaxing stay.
