1. The open-plan toilet. It wasn’t so cute being exposed while using the toilet. Some privacy would be great. 2. The lady at reception - I’m not so sure of her name. She called to find out what time we would be checking in - I told her at round 21:00 she responded to say that would be impossible as the hotel closes at 20:00. Despite trying to explain to her that I’m traveling between two provinces to collect items that I needed for the week before leaving for Welkom - she was very resistant. She eventually resorted to needing to discuss it with her Manager and then get back to me. The whole day went by without her giving me any feedback. I made several attempts to call the hotel, but it kept taking me to an automated recording - I assume the phone was switched off. I even sent several messages through the booking platform with no response. At this stage - I couldn’t travel without knowing if I’d be accommodated as I had already paid. It was only at around 18:00 that I eventually got through to the number and within 5min the gentleman on duty managed to resolve my matter and told me I could check-in later. The downside was that I had to leave much later than planned due to awaiting feedback all day, but all worked out. Thanks to Jaco for his patience and lovely service - and to the gentleman as well.

Great decor, very classy with the vibe of the Franschoek wine farms. Lovely atmosphere and facilities. Great service from Jaco and the other gentleman.

We hosted an exclusive Oortreflik style & makeup workshop at Uitsig Boutique Hotel this past weekend and we were so impressed with the amazing venue and wonderful service received. Wifi does not reach the cottage where i was staying at. Please extend WIFI range to cover the cottage rooms behind the main hotel premises.

The floor upstairs is a wooden one so if the neighbour above does not tread lightly expect some noise if you have a room above.

I really liked how elegant the place is. The grounds are well maintained and the staff was very friendly. The keys 🔑 arrangement was a thoughtful one as well.

The WiFi password was not provided. Would suggest better coffee. Give butter as an option - not just margarien. The hairdryer plug in the room needs an adapter.

Unfortunately the room that I was given didn't pick up the free wifi so that made my work difficult as I do need to work after coming back to the room. However I am sure that they will take steps to improve that soon as this is a fairly new establishment.

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are quiet. The breakfast was good - I especially liked the double cream plain yogurt option, since this is not always available and along with the berries, they made a good change from the usual breakfast. The rooms are elegant and tasteful, with beautiful shower and bathroom. Wonderful park-like gardens really make it feel very peaceful. Book a room in the main house for best wifi reception. I would definitely book in here again!
