The accommodation is very well kept, very well designed and full of details, without a doubt the most beautiful space we have stayed in during our stay in the country. the garden is a delight, and every space has a detail. The food is excellent, the chef's love for his work is evident in every detail, the dinner was delicious. The welcome from Fabian, his wife and the rest of the staff is unbeatable. Unfortunately due to a missed flight connection we were unable to enjoy the first night as booked, so we were only able to stay one night instead of the planned two.

We had cold water every morning not to be blamed on the facility as it was because of load shedding, but might help to get some form of alternative in place

Wifi did not quite cover all the rooms and not much provision for load shedding.

The location inside the Wildlife estate worked really well with animals like giraffe and duiker grazing right at your door. Also nice to walk around with animals that are very tame and we spotted three different sugarbird species from the dining area amongst the aloes. Breakfast was top quality done by the resident chef.

We were delighted with Ukuthula Bush Lodge. The staff and Jacques were very welcoming and helpful. The location is lovely and the design and setting of the Lodge is wonderful. Our room was extremely comfortable and well designed. comfortable in all respects.

I would've liked a more comfortable chair in the room but space may be the issue.

Looking at the stars while sitting around the fire pit was something special. Our favourite meal was breakfast, and Kimberly makes the best Gin n tonic.

Wish we had booked a cottage for more privacy and views into the bush rather than our privacy screen.

Lovely setting within Hoedspruit estate. We had an immaculate bedroom just off the main lounge. Especially liked the large bath and options of inside/ outside shower . unfortunately the weather wasn’t great so we couldn’t relax on recliners on pool terrace but view from shared balcony into the bush was wonderful. My husband spotted lots of incredible birds in the garden and we enjoyed doing some small drives around the estate as a rest from our long days in Kruger. Easy drive to Orpen Gate . Kimberley really welcoming and informative. The owner Fabienne passionate about sharing his home in the bush with his guests.

I honestly loved everything, it even exceeded my expectations

I wouldn't even know where to start explaining the services we received from the whole Ukuthula team. As I went there to celebrate my birthday, they made sure it was extra special, they went extra mile to change the desert of the day to make cake for me and everyone at the guesthouse had a piece of it. Thanks Kimberly, crew and the owner. I could go on and on but today let me leave it here. Definitely will set my foot there again in the near future

Needed instant coffee in the room, not just tea and bodem coffee. Small issue. VERY SMALL issue.

Very welcoming and friendly staff. Very comfortable room and bathroom. Great atmosphere, super breakfast. Would have loved to try dinner but met family in town......sad to miss the opportunity. Will definitely return.
