Dealing with the host was a bit of a challenge and your stay comes with a lot of rules - which you only get to see after the booking - the biggest one being the electricity costs. The property operates on a prepaid meter. You cannot keep the doors open to the flat because of the monkeys and we discovered, not even the security gate in the lounge could keep them out, as they pushed right through it - so, the aircons are required. We ran out of electricity within a few days and when I asked the host to top up, I got the rules recited back to me and she impressed how expensive electricity was! When I'm paying for the use of a flat, on my holiday, I don't want to be worrying about the cost of electricity and how I'm conducting my day to day activities. We were respectful, turned aircons off when not needed or out - what more can be expected of us? Never have I stayed somewhere, where the host has made the utility costs, my problem! She also asks for an addition non-refundable charge, over and above the deposit, in order for her to connect the DSTV (which is a basic package - no sport) and the WiFi - this wasn't noted in the ad when I booked. Overall, she was pleasant enough but I felt like I had far too many dealings with her, that the rules should be made clear prior to someone paying for a non-refundable booking, that the guest should not be made to feel guilty for using the aircons in the flat and that all costs should be transparent prior to booking. I'd hesitate to stay here again, due to the host - not the apartment.

The location of this block is perfect - we stay here often! Balcony over looking the water, with the beach just across the road - can't ask for more! The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed.

The was a washing machine which had a note(Do not use the washing machine) and it was disappointing not to wash small clothes while still there for three days, not sure if it was not working as the reason was not indicated and I didnt bother to ask. It was also disappointing to acknowledge when I found out the DSTV had no Supersport channels to watch sports.

The property is located close to the beach front. It is in a safe secured gated compound. The place was nicely spacious with a balcony with sitting and braai stand. There was unlimited Wi-Fi. All rooms have aircons. The host did us a huge favor and gave us permission to check in around 12 which is is two hours before because she had no booking in day before. She was also nice to give us an extra time after check out time expired to get our packing in order when we realized our checking out time is over. The host's response via call or what's up was on point and when she was busy to answer she always comes back.

Was instructed to pay a 1000 deposit 500 breakage and 500 non refundable for dstv and wifi (this was not mentioned on booking.com). Still waiting for my deposit more than 2 weeks later despite sending numerous messages.

The oven had no shelves or roasting dish in the oven, so could not do anything in the oven or grill anything. The weather was rainy so we needed the oven as we could'nt braai. The TV reception is very bad and when I asked my neighbour how he's was in the rainy weather he said it was perfect. The TV didnt work properly even with normal weather. A new booster needs to be installed. The toilets also need looking at as they dont flush the paper away. The monkeys are a pest , but this is now the owners problem and as a town they need to address the problem. You cant eat on your patio at all as the attack.

View was great. Everything was as per the photos. The air conditioners were great to have with the humidity. Security staff were very helpful and the garden complex staff very friendly.

Firstly it's was not easy to find the place of which we ended up getting there so late..... on top of that when we open the door the key get stuck in the door locker and it's was not clean 😒

There was a complete lack of instruction on how to get in and out of the property. I could not even find what the number of the unit was. There was no dishwashing liquid. I believe that the crockery was washed without soap as there was a smell to it.
