The cottage was spacious and well equipped. Airconditioning in both the sleeping rooms. We asked for a late check out because of my elderly mom and the property hat no problem with that. They were extremely kind in every way.

The Wi-Fi was a bit of an issue, but not one that greatly affected us as when you go on holiday it’s largely about spending time with your family/friends rather than using the internet.

Amazing property that is quite central and allows for easy access to prime locations in the area. cleanliness was exceptional and the staff and owner are amazing and accommodating the entire time. the house itself is also very comfortable with all amenities needed.

Nothing was good What we booked we never got. The owner had drama with ceilings falling etc. I regret booking this disgusting place. I will never recommend this old tatty place to anyone

Unit had damage from a storm which was unfortunate and unavoidable BUT nothing was done to alleviate the situation. Floor was wet with running water but no towel or mop available. Room absolutely stank but no air freshener. Toilet covered in filth which dripped down from the hole in the ceiling which was covered with a black refuse bag which came adrift during the night. No dish clothes provided. Glasses and cutlery dusty.

Beds very comfortable, Air Conditioner very good and quiet.

There was nothing we did not like, all was excellent.

The Host were excellent, we felt like we were at home, Alec and Tracy are exceptional hosts. The Gardens on the property are amazing. We will definatly be returning.

The place was secure and clean. The hosts were exceptionally entertaining. They took my kids on a tour and went in search of the tortoises in the property, my little one remarked that it was like an easter egg hunt. We truly enjoyed out stay.

There were dogs walking around the premises that I was not made aware of prior to the booking I couldn't even have breakfast onsite

There were a few things that made our stay unpleasant. There were no dishcloths available in the kitchen and, on our 1st evening there, the salt cellar was empty. Coffee provided was inedible due to it being hard. The toilet floor in the 2 single bed room was wet - it appeared as if the toilet was leaking. There were no bathroom mats on the day we arrived. Thereafter, only one bathroom received a mat. The taps in both showers shocked us when we used them. The air is still cold and it would have been nice to have a duvet instead of a thin quilt. The front left stove plate tripped the mains on the DB. There was no Wifi available due to the servers in the area being down. It would have been nice to have been told upon or before our arrival. My travelling buddy came home with bed bug bites from the double bed room. The impression we got was that the cottage had not been checked thoroughly prior to our arrival. When comparing this to other venues in the area, such as Hluhluwe Country Cottages, it falls short of expectations and value for money.

It was lovely to see that some of our suggestions made previously had been considered - plug points near the bedside tables being one of them. The dark-coloured towels were great! I liked how clean the unit was. Our host was helpful and assisted with refilling our salt cellar when asked:-)

The Dstv package was poor - I expected to at least be able to watch the Sport channels - and this was not mentioned anywhere that I can see; Wi-Fi did not work (when asked we were told it was a Telkom problem) - I would have expected prior warning and a discount seeing that the price included Wi-Fi. Bathrooms very small. Also was handed a set of keys with remotes with incorrect info on how the remotes for the gate/ alarm works

All in all it was passable - clean and quiet
