There was absolutely nothing to like about the place, the environment, the staff friendliness and professionalism was just spectacular :)!

The Staff went beyond the call of duty to accommodate us when we were running late for our morning massage by keeping our breakfast warm and ready to eat after the massage session. That for us was an amazing customer experience!

I wish there was a bathtub to complete the rest & recoup experience, but to be honest not a big deal. The dinner options could be a little more broader, but breakfast was amazing!

We stayed at Villa Mhlabeni, our stay was serene, exactly what we needed for a weekend away from the hustle and bustle of JHB. The staff were nothing short of amazing, attentive responsive and very friendly! The room was exactly as it looked in the photos, there's fans aircons and mosquito nets to keep you comfortable through the night.

There is nothing that we did not like. Everything exceeded our expectations. Unembeza is perfect for a getaway where you just want to unplug, and relax. It was quite a drive from Gauteng but it was worth it. I would advise that one starts their drive early if one is driving from outside the province as the drive can be quite long but with proper planning it is actually quite enjoyable.

My husband and I liked everything about Unembeza. Our room was clean and comfortable. The place is so tranquil and we were able to relax. The convenience of having a restaurant onsite was the cherry on top of the cake. We did not have to stress about anything. The staff is helpful, patient and friendly. The game drive that we booked through Unembeza was spectacular, we thoroughly enjoyed it.

The room was great, spacious and had all necessaries amenities to combat the heat (aircon and fans). The restaurant area was amazing, and the dinner was particularly great on the nights that we ate at the lodge. The property is peaceful and full of wildlife, we particularly enjoyed the occasional visit of the Warthogs and Antelope species.

The water in the morning was so cold n we had appointment for horse riding at 7am so we had to take a cold shower😭😭 I cold the receptionist around past 5 n they promised to come n fix it bt they didn't

The outside shower n bathtub was lit n I also enjoyed having our own private pool.

I loved everything about the Unembeza. The service was great, the staff is very friendly and helpful. They go far and beyond to ensure that you are well taken care off. I liked everything, the room, breakfast, dinner, massages and the game drive was fun too.

We stayed at Unembeza's Villa Mbali, a beautiful property just a short walk from the main lodge. The cabin was right by the main house, but felt private and secluded. It was tastefully decorated and well-stocked with amenities, including homemade cookies and an indoor/outdoor shower. Each morning, we found different animals venturing through the property: monkeys, warthogs, kudu, and guinea fowl. The lodge staff were warm and hospitable and helped us organize fun outings to visit Kruger and the Panorama Route and explore the neighboring wildlife reserve, where we saw giraffe, zebra, impala, waterbuck, and lots of birds. We had breakfast and dinner at the lodge each day -- and the meals were fantastic. Overall, this property exceeded our expectations. I'd definitely recommend it!

What a memorable experience this was! We drove from Johannesburg to Unembeza and got a warm welcome from the staff on arrival. The lodge was beautiful, clean and big with even an outside shower. (And fresh baked cookies everyday!!) The staff was extremely friendly and we enjoyed the dinners a lot. Definitly book a safari with them, both in Kruger and Hoedspruit. Thanks a lot Unembeza for contributing to an amazing trip to SA!
