The cottage is comfortable and well appointed, with everything we needed for our one night stay. It is on a beautiful property with stunning views. Our host communicated very well and the instructions to access the property were easy to understand.

The accommodation was geared towards eco friendliness and being off the grid, which I love. The host was very friendly and welcoming and the estate itself was so peaceful!

The fridge door couldn't close because the freezer compartment was over iced. We defrosted it fairly quickly without any problems. Maybe look into that before guests arrive. The 2 knives supplied were very blunt and couldn't cut a tomato. Would have been nice if the unit had a "braai bak" for braaivleis. Would be nice if there's storage containers for leftover food. Even with the small hicups above, we really enjoyed our stay :-)

It was my son's honeymoon and the host made up the room especially for them with an amazing setup and welcome champagne. My son said it was a very comfortable and cozy stay and they had a very relaxing and enjoyable time.

The locked door leading into the main house. It felt unsafe..

It was clean. The host was present and really went far and beyond to accommodate me and my daughter.. She made us a scrumptious breakfast on request. The cottage was well stocked up with water, coffee, tea, and cooking basics, so yes, we could have cooked our own breakfast. She spoiled us 😉. I loved my quiet time on the veranda. It was peaceful and the air clean. Perfect for braai evenings. The cottage doesn't have a TV, but that didn't bother us as we cozy'd up on the veranda and caught up with the "real housewives of Durban" on the tablet. It was lovely.

Lovely location, fantastic hosts. The place was stunning and really well done up. A few minor hiccups but easily sorted by the attentive and responsive hosts. Felt very safe on my morning running (although the climb uphill to the location was certainly challenging on tired legs). Had a fantastic time.

The water in the shower - it ran hot for about 15 seconds & then turned ice cold. One had to turn the water off and then on again to get another 15 second burst of hot water, so showering was a challenge. The host had left a number to call if we had issues but we opted not to do that & only reported it the morning that we left. We would have liked to have had a TV in the room.

It is modern, airy, neat, tidy & spotlessly clean. The communication with the host was excellent. The view from the unit is wonderful. Its location in an estate made one feel secure. We appreciated the good wi-fi. It was a very cold night but the gas fire kept the inside of the unit, even the bathroom, warm & snug. We were sorry the weather didn't allow us to sit outside to enjoy the magnificent gardens surrounding the unit or walk around the property.
