The prices for cocktails and other alcoholic beverages is outrageous. Having a sunset cocktail for 2 in the restaurant is almost R400. We wanted to order breakfast for room service to enjoy on our deck and we were informed of a whole list of items that were not available so we were then not able to have breakfast which was such a let down. We had to find somewhere else to go for breakfast.

The staff were absolutely amazing. Very friendly and just a phone call away. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent and well priced.

The staff and service is amazing, the food exceeded my expectations, delicious! Security visible everywhere...agh man I loved my stay here. I'm definitely coming back soon.

The bed sheets had brown stains on them. The Hot tub did heat up sufficiently despite us putting all the wood in.

My time there was too short. One day is not enough to really enjoy the hotel or the area. Next time will try to stay longer.

From the moment you arrive the service was excellent. You are met at the parking with a golf cart to take you straight to reception and the restaurant. Given a welcome drink on arrival and seats at the reception desk. Check in was effortless and as I had a lunch arrangement went straight to the restaurant and my bag was taken to my room. You are given a what's app number and anything you need can be arranged through that number. The food in the restaurant was amazing and the room was very comfortable and functional. The view was amazing. The breakfast was a great way to end the stay of a perfect stay.

The massages unfortunately weren't great, especially for the price. I also wasn't a fan of the head massage taking place on the bed, unfortunately the friction with my face in the massage bed caused a blister on my face.

The vegan chia breakfast pudding was delicious, we also loved the pap balls on the meat platter and the salmon english muffins are always a favourite. The WhatsApp communication is efficient and easy.

The bed was not properly made it looked like someone just left immediately. No big mirror in the room to see how you dressed. For the price I paid i felt they could do better.

Peaceful place the game drive was good. Staff was amazing. The food was good.

The sky rooms felt a bit small. We have stayed in the other rooms before and felt sky room is nice but could be a bit more spacious..I compared with other rooms. Could also do with a bath. Hot tub nice add, as that's why I booked room type..but was not hot...it was actually Luke warm..not hot at all. If this is the case thrn they need to make space in the room for a regualar bath tub. Shower was lovely and hot. Also, it would be nice if we could hear and see some animals around the lodge. If thry put larger game there like rhino maybe, Buffalo and lion and you could lay in your room at night hearing thr lions..that would be a game changer. But I know not all reserves aim is to have big animals. Even hyena..to hear that at night while looking at at the reserve would be amazing. Shower handle in room was coming loose. Did report it on checkout.

Food was exceptional, accommodation and view spectacular, and staff were brilliant. From thr warm welcome and butler from the porters, to the reception staff, and Waiters. All did an amazing job. The attention to detail, and communication, much of an improvement from when we were there last in 2018. Also lots more on offer. Booking.com value for money definitely, go for the half board option. Love that you can Whatsapp if you need anything at all. Very good.

I couldn't soak in the bath because the plug didn't seal properly so the water kept disappearing. It's a natural pool so the bottom was a little slippery from the algae which is a bit weird.

Our room was spacious and private with a nice large deck area. The food at the restaurant was great. My husband loved his massage. The staff was so responsive, all our requests were handled promptly.

The pool was still closed for renovation (although they told me it would be reopened when I contacted them about 2-3w prior to my arrival). They offered an alternative though: a shuttle to the swimming pool on the other side of the domain. However this pool was not really inviting since it wasn't clean and without any staff available the vervet monkeys really take over the place.

Best bed & bathroom from my entire trip through South-Africa! The rooms are wonderful and so is the restaurant and all the staff I encountered during my stay. I had the package that included dinner & breakfast and every meal I had was delicious. The game drive was OK but not great, but I was happy to see some blesbok and enjoy the surroundings.
