The bar and pool entertainment area closed too early for our liking (20h00), and so did the restaurant (20h30). We found the rooftop entertainment area rather tiny for the size of the establishment. We waited too long for breakfast on the first day (about 35 mins), and some orders were mixed up. Meluleki seemed to be having a bad morning and appeared somewhat not attuned or overwhelmed by our frustration. However, he redeemed himself for the remainder of our stay, and we received our meals promptly with no complaints.

The apartment was clean, beautiful, comfortable with modern finishes. The kitchen and lounge areas were fully equipped. Everything was as advertised. We were blown away by the quality of the food and coffee from the restaurant, we had all our meals from there as a result (except for the first day when we found out the restaurant closed earlier than we had assumed). The views from the rooftop entertainment area were amazing. The friendliness of staff was evident and appreciated.

Their restaurant closes early for dinner on weekdays (8 pm) and we struggled a little on one of the days because we arrived at 8.15. Also, the bar closes at 9 pm on weekdays. The streets aren't deemed safe for walking at night so your best bet is to take an Uber to V&A Waterfront where restaurants are open late or order food through UberEats.

The location is perfect - we had a rental car so we were happy to be able to park right outside the hotel on the street, which was quite safe, due to the patroling cops and security people. The hotel has their own private parking too, for 100 RAND a day. The vibe on Saturday night was amazing at the hotel's resraurant, with live singers and music until midnight. We didn't feel the need to get out and go anywhere else. They also have a pool and poolside bar which we were unable to visit since we were out all day. The restaurant is great for food - even though our breakfast wasn't included in the package, to have easy access to a meal is really important.

Serious lack of soundproofing - we could literally hear the couple on the other side of the wall having a muffled conversation while lying in bed. Street noise can also be quite hectic with the window open. Lack of parking is also not great, and parking on the street is super expensive. Kitchen came with plates, bowls, cups and drinking glasses, but no knives, forks or spoons! No cloths for washing up dishes either.

The rooms were very spacious and comfortable, and the cafe downstairs makes excellent coffee. Great to have the option of opening a window for fresh air instead of only having air-conditioning, althought there is that too, should you prefer. Tons of storage space, good bathroom, and very large shower.

The location is excellent, in the city centre close to several important museums, the Company Gardens, and the busy social world that is Long Street, with a comfy room ideal for a single traveller.

Everything was fine.

It’s a great place to stay with a friendly staff and great facilities. The rooms are very spacious and well equipped. The location is close to the centre of town and it’s easy to walk to many of the sights. They have a bar restaurant where many locals drop in and regular entertainment.

Although the room seemed to be cleaned well, there were lots of hairs that weren't mine, which made it feel less hygienic.

The location is good, staff very friendly and nice to be able to do some laundry in the room.

Small things/details like blow-dry didn't work an freezing department from fridge was not defrosted properly. Offered coffee (sticks) and water cooker at room but no tea bags?

Breakfast was possible in restaurant downstairs. Friendly staff Google quality breakfast for reasonable price. Rooftop terrace very nice and possibility to have dinner there is a bonus.

It is somewhat unsafe. People not staying there have easy access to the rooms which isn’t great. There was a band on one of the nights which we could hear from our room. Had we intended for a quiet night, this would have been a challenge especially because we were not given prior notice of the noise. The restaurant/bar also closed very early which forced us to go out to get food after 20h30.

It is very centrally located which was great. The bar/restaurant downstairs was also great. The staff were also very friendly.

It’s the bar on the pool areas, if there’s an event we are not allowed in the area even though booked for the stay. In all if the are people in the bar we are not allowed to swim in the pool which is very unfair

The lift was out of order and we were on the 2nd floor. We are luckily fit active people, so it did not bother us too much.

I liked that it was an apartment, which meant we could self cater. But the on site restaurant was also a good option. The facility was really clean and neat. We had good Wi-Fi and I was impressed by the XL Smart TVs already connected with internet. Air-conditioning also worked really well in the hot weather. Overall a very good experience. Thank you!
