The backyard didn’t have any lights which was difficult when we arrived back late the night.

When we arrived, I had sent a WhatsApp msg to the owner on our day of arrival to let her know the time we were going to be check in, their check in is 12h00 PM, we arrived at 13h10 but the place was still not prepared, it was dirty, it took them 2 hours and 30 mins to prepare, we were not ok at all. I booked for 10 people 5 rooms, they were all not prepared. when we left we cleaned the place, even the lady who was working there was very shocked at how we left the place clean

shared bathroom you may feel on a camping ground when many families live in the rooms nearby . close you door locked as Kids may open you door room ar any moment. à blind on the window could improve à lot the confort in the shinning mornings

Why is it called Uyolo Guest Lodge but the signboard outside is written something different? We spent so much time looking for it. Their contact number was off,we had no choice but to ask strangers on the streets if they knew the place and that is very unsafe. Yoh the young lady at the reception was very unwelcoming,rude and cheeky🥺

Wifi connection didn't pick up where i stayed, and the main bedroom doesn't have a TV and no DSTV as advertised. The TV is located in the room of the kids, no TV in the main bedroom for adults

The place wasn't swept....it wasn't clean, especially the kitchen. The wifi 'Naidoo' didn't appear. Our bathroom didn't have clean towels and toilet roll. The place wasn't clean but it wasn't too bad

The bedding was clean and the place wasn't noisy. Punji was very nice and her stuff....Punji is a very hospitable person.

There should be a sign on the building, staff didn't know the be uyolo. The room should be aired before arrival, had a stuffy smell. No one knew about my online booking upon arrival. The reception area was full of laundry and the bath had spider webs and did not work

When my partner and I arrived at the lodge. They couldn't find our booking online. We called the owner numerous times and they didn't answer. We were then given an alternative room to use and not the one we had booked online. Later on the room we booked online was now available. Very unprofessional.

I could not even get to stay in that place as the owner cancelled on Christmas day and i was going to use the place for rest on my way back from holiday in CT but i was stranded and had no accommodation until the 11th hour. Still awaiting my refund and that Naiddo lady is so rude.... She is the one who cancelled the booking but she wants to charge me a cancellation fee ...Booking.com needs to find another way to be contacted as i still await my refund.

I book this guest house on line. But when i check on the map, there is no such name. I rove from 18:: to 22:00 looking for the place. When i call, all calls are on voicemail. If it wasn't about my sister who also book there i would have slept on the Street, the staff is shouting at me, the gates crashed my car, no security guards. Inside the room no toilets ad advertised.i have to share with other people the bathroom. The guest house is called uyolo guest house online but there is no such name in the buildings. . I was so disappointed and i am not only the person disappointed but my family and friends. There is no parking and tv was not playing. What a disgraced place. In port elizabeth ....nxa..i will never book any guest house any more. Only hotels for me from now on

The water was cold There was no toilet paper, the room was cold We asked for iron the lady tells us that it is in the other room she will bring it but she didn't bring when my friend go and ask for iron she said she will bring it but she didn't bring it so we decided not to order breakfast because of poor service

it’s not clean, bed fells sandy, the linen also we were itchy the whole night. Yhoo 😱the bed is worn out when you turn around it’s making a noise. flies dead on the floor but we didn’t kill any flies. yhoo never seen such an unpleasant stay.

Tamzin was very welcoming and helpful all throughout our weekend stay. The owner Ms Naidoo is so kind and very welcoming. We are definately coming back again and this is our new home.

The house was really very dirty, especially the kitchen. There is a communal kitchen for all residents in the house and 2 communal bathrooms to be shared by all. The only en suite bathroom is in the so called family room. I booked for 4 adults and 2 rooms, but the family room was given to us which is definitely not suitable for 4 adults. The website gave the impression that the room comes with a fridge, stove etc, giving the impression that the family room is part of an apartment. There was no water in the shower. The lights of the first floor tripped continuously which had nothing to do with load shedding. The door of the family room could not be locked from the inside. Wife code was incorrect. Only 2 bathrooms towels for 4 people. The head piece of bed was loose and had to be removed because of noisiness. No interest from the owner.

Tamzin, the manager, tried her best to attend to the numerous short comings and problems. She should be awarded a medal. Location is good. Rooms spacious.

Staying at Uyolo Guest l9dge was the best stay I ever experienced. Staff was very friendly always very willing to help wherever and whenever they can.i can always refer any one who wanna come tops to book there ...And definitely I will come over again on next vacation. The place is quiet no noise at all
