We loved,loved,loved absolutely everything the farm had to offer!!! Our hosts were so friendly & welcoming😇 I honestly cannot sum up in few words just how much we loved being there💖 We loved it so much, that it felt like it was our Home away from Home😍 Stunning hosts, Stunning Accommodation, Awesome food & Wowwwww to encounter the wild animals & be in such close proximity to them was so surreal😍 If you are an animal lover,it is a very Spiritual experience to get so close to God's creation in it's full splendour💗 I could go on & on & on!!! For those reading my review,it may sound exaggerated, but it will only resonate if like us you felt a spiritual connection with the place🤗 We stayed over for my b'day, & it will remain one of my most beautiful memories!!! We felt that we had encountered a little piece of HEAVEN🤗💖🙏 ALL PRAISE & GLORY TO GOD🙋💞 Mwahhhh xxxx💋

The only flaw was the wifi, which is only functional at the main building and the internet connection wouldn’t be enough for a business stay. Just have to focus on the location and wildlife and tell everyone about it later!

The location is fantastic, with marked walking routes on which you can get to know the local wildlife: giraffes, zebras, various deer… the list goes on! And if that’s not enough, there are elephant and lion parks within an hours drive. The staff are very friendly and helpful, whether your schedule is changing or if you need advice on where to go and how.

We liked everything

The managers and host made us feel very welcome. Beautiful view from the deck. Swimming pool. Nice hiking trail where we walked a few meters from the giraffes and could take close up photos. Giraffes can be viewed from a short distance. The bed was comfortable. Coffee and tea making facilities in the room. The breakfast was delicious and is included in the price.

Fantastic lodge for the entire family. Loved the giraffes and the walking trails. Wonderful breakfast and the dinners were delicious and very generous. Owners and manager accommodating and very welcoming. Well-sized bedrooms and beds. We had a wonderful time.

Lovely place and even lovelier people. The rooms I was placed in was huge and their breakfast was amazing. They have really great hiking trails as well. Very patient and accommodating staff.

Aaah not their fault, but because of lockdown we could not get any fancy meals because all restaurants were prohibited from functioning.

Valley Bushveld Country Lodge is simply wonderful. Nothing can beat waking up to the sight of the giraffes, as they wandered up the hillside opposite the lodge to catch the morning sun. It was also such a fun experience to explore on foot, following the network of paths around the reserve, giving excellent views of all the game and bird life. Although I visited the area specifically to go to Addo National Park (which surpassed all expectations), some days I never left the lodge. Breakfast was excellent. But definitely take the opportunity to have dinner too - delicious home-cooked food, made with culinary flair! The room was perfect and the team were so welcoming and helpful. I booked for 4 nights, but then extended to 6!

The lodge offers a 2 course breakfast and it's absolutely scrumptious. The food is always well prepared and and the staff that serve it are the best, very warm and friendly, perfect especially for extroverts like me and my friends.

I wish I had known about the bees around the pool because that's why I chose this place. The staff had a strange energy when we were there. It felt awkward and cold. I'm glad that we only stayed one night.

The walls are paper thin Our 'neighbours' watched TV until around midnight Then the snoring was so loud we were disturbed The place had an appearance of being clean but it wae very dusty

Parking to far from the rooms, and had to walk thru dining area with all luggage to get to room. Would have liked a bigger table in room to use laptop on, since we had road planning do. Hair drier handle sticky. Would have liked a fridge in room, since we still had food/meat to travel with.

We had the feeling, that the host wanted us to leave as early als possible and told us, that we would drive much longer to our next destination than we actually did. We had the plan to check out the area and watch the animals on the farm, but because of the strange behaviour of our host, we left early. Also, we had the feeling, that they were angry, that we didn‘t want dinner. It was also annoying, that we heard every flush of every toilet in the house and that we could listen to the conversations of the other guests and couldn‘t sleep.

It was nice, that the electricity was working during load shedding. Also the wild animals, especially the giraffes, were amazing. The breakfast was good and the room was clean.

The booking/emails/w. Upp and general tone of the conversations were not very consumer friendly. Emails took a while before answered. When the w. Upp was used after all the load shedding at 7pm at night and emails not being answered." We are closed now," was the response. And arriving 15 min early I was repremanded. It could have been handled more professional.

The room was very well equipped and spacious and modern. Food was well presented and yummy.
